EPISODE THREE/FOUR, chapter six
" it's not romantic, i swear.
i'm not gasping for air-air-air. i
want you to be here, but please
don't come near. 'cause even
though i'm pretty sure my head's
exploding, i'm not ready for hand
holding. it's not love, i swear. "
— despair, leo.
THEY APPROACHED WHERE THE BYERS HAD LIVED. Consisting of Joyce Byers, the mother of Jonathan Byers and Will Byers. Joyce was a fair, brunette woman. She was a determined one. Determined to give her sons a life that was somewhat good, becoming a single mother after her terrible husband, Lonnie and her divorced."Here." Eleven said, turning around to face Mike. It was night time, the moonlight shining onto everyones bodies.
"Yeah. This is where Will lives." Mike said, Lucas and Dustin approaching shortly after.
"Hiding." El whispered.
"No, no. This is where he lives." Mike said fiercely. "He's missing from here. Understand?" Mike's voice was strong, each word was spoken clearly. In attempt to make El understand Will was missing. He wasn't—He wouldn't be at home.
"What are we doing here?" Lucas questioned, his words quickly spoken. A deadpanned expression laid on his face, he looked at Mike. All hope was lost for Eleven.
Mike let out a sigh. "She said he was hiding here." Mike responded immediately.
"Um ...No!" Lucas said. Sass laid in his voice, eyes flickering from the house to back over at Mike.
"I swear, if we walked all the way out here for nothing—" Dustin says, before getting interrupted by Lucas. "That's exactly what we did! I told you she didn't know what the hell she was talking about!"
Y/N pursed her lips, kicking a rock. "I'm tired. My legs hurt." she complains.
Mike turned over to Eleven. "Why did you bring us here?" Mike said.
Eleven stammered. "Mike, don't waste your time on her." Lucas chimed in.
"What do you want to do then?" Mike said sarcastically, his hands still held his bike's handles firmly. Y/N stayed silent, watching the boys argue. Per-usual.
"Call the cops!" Lucas stated, as if it was obvious. "Like we should've done yesterday?"
Mike huffed. "We are not calling the cops!"
Dustin and Y/N shared a look, before looking over at what seemed to be police. "Hey, guys?" Dustin called out, yet, Mike and Lucas continued. "Guys!"
The sirens roared loudly. The five of them all walk up a bit, Mike whispered. "Will." The group all hurried away, getting onto their bikes and pedaling as fast as they could.
"Hold on tight." Y/N whispered to Eleven. El grabbed her waist tight, Y/N started to pedal off in a rush, catching up with the boys. She glided across a puddle.
