(Third pov)

They got to the gym and started doing some warmup stretches. Hyunjin tried his best to focus on himself, but no matter how hard he tried, my eyes kept drifting away to the smaller blonde boy beside him. The way his muscles slightly flexed with each stretch and the way his lightly tanned skin was the perfect shade. He was getting lost in his thoughts until he watched their eyes lock gazes and quickly turned away. Why would I stare like that! First, he thinks I'm a weirdo. Now he thinks I'm a creep. Hyunjin mentally scolded himself.

"Sorry," he whispers, to which Felix just gives him a strange look.

"Let's get started," Changbin clapped his hands, signalised for them to follow him over to the workout bench. "Today, we'll work on arms." Changbin stated, of course, taking control of the workout schedule, being the gymaholic he is. "Okay, but let's do abdomen as well. The fans would hate for Felix to lose his precious abs, " Hyunjin jokes, trying to act how they usually would. He doesn't know how one conversation can change the flow of their whole friendship.

"Alright, let's do it." Changbin agrees, and Felix just keeps his cold glare. Hyunjin's honestly surprised that Changbin hasn't said anything yet, or maybe he's just too oblivious to notice. 

They took turns on the weights on different machines, swapping between spotting someone else. Hyunjin had to spot Felix on the weight lift bench. It had been about 20 minutes since they started working out, and he couldn't help but notice the way the sweat dripped down Felix's toned arms as he lifted the bar up and down.

It was like he was almost lost in a trace when Felix put the weight bar back on the holder and got up. Hyunjin can't believe he let my mind wonder at a time like that. He probably hates me now, he thought.

The rest of their arm workout went by rather quickly, and it was finally time for the abdomen. He doesn't know why, but watching Felix do sit up is just one of the hottest things he has ever seen. "Hey, Hyunjin!" Changbin snaped him out of his trance. "Y-yea?"

"I gotta go to the company, but make sure you finish up your sets, you're already here after all," Changbin says in a rush and leaves before Hyunjin gets the chance to say anything. And he couldn't be happier to finally be alone with Felix once more.

He watched as Felix started his pushups, not seeming to realize that Changbin had left. He watched the toned by closely as he went up and down, his muscles straining and the sweat running down his arms. It was so hot.

"What are you looking at?!" Felix snaps at him. "Oh, umm. N-nothing, I was just gonna tell you that Changbin had to leave." He says, thinking of the first thing that would be able to save him from this situation. "That doesn't explain why you're staring" Felix gets up from the ground sitting on the bench by our bags, and Hyunjin almost fainted when he sees the way he slumped in the chair with his legs spread. "Well, I thought it did," he say awkwardly, sitting next to him. Felix just rolled his eyes.

"So... since we're alone now -" "Hyunjin, stop! I don't want to talk about this, " He practically yelled but had to lower his voice in case someone heard him. "Please, Felix, it's fine if you don't want to talk about it, but can you at least stop acting so different towards me!" Hyunjin matched his tone. "Hyunjin... I'm sorry. " Felix finally found his words to speak again. "It's just... It's difficult to know that.... you know..." He doesn't finish his sentence, but the older knew what he meant. "I know, I should have never said that," he admits, feeling his eyes water up a little but quickly get rid of them.

"It's just strange to know that you still feel that way after all these years," he says, and Hyunjin can tell this conversation is difficult for him. "I know, and we can be less touchy with each other if you'd like. Just please don't ignore me. " The taller boy pleads not wanting to lose his best friend. "I-I guess we can just forget this ever happened," Felix finally said, making Hyunjin gleam with joy. "Thank you so much, Felix. I promise this will never happen again.
