Bread, Martyn and Mystery

"Bad boys ! Assemble."
Joel called out, interrupting Grian and Tim in chopping wood into planks.

The two walked over to Joel.

"Are you guys ready to build a skynet?"
Joel asked, a slightly sinister grin appearing on his face.

"So we're gonna call it skynet ?"
Grian asked.

"Jep. Are you ready to build ?"
Joel answered excitedly.

"I think yes"

Grian started, Tim finishing the sentence:

"Let's go"

A little bit of time had passed.
The three of them were building upwards, Grian doing most of it by flying up with one finished part of the tower for Joel to attach to the parts that were already in place.

Tim build the parts on the ground and occasionally chopped the wood he needed into planks.

This continued for a while until they were really, really high up.
It was relatively quick considering they had only needed 40 minutes for the tower as well as some strength potions.

Afterwards the three gathered on a platform Grian had put in place at the top.

"Ok looks like we're done, we need some kind of home base up here, cause that ladder looks menacing to climb down"
Tim stated nervously.

"Good plan"
Grian reassured as he started placing wood at the edge of the platform.

"Ok I'll get to work placing in the actual skynet"
Joel said as he started placing wood at the edge of the platform.

"Tim how about you continue building the hut and I fly down and gather some resources for our project"
Grian called out, already on his way to drop down from the platform.

"Sure!" Tim shouted, hoping that Grian still heard it.

Grian landed in a random forest near a beach he had spotted way earlier and started to gather wood, seeds for bread bridge, appels and some mushrooms.

He was humming a random melody to himself when he suddenly felt like someone else was there. He felt uneasy and stopped humming, in fear that someone would listen.

He ended up brushing it off to some random animal doing weird things then spending a good minute quietly collecting a few mushrooms.

Suddenly something moved in the corner of his eye, while he was grabbing his axe.

He turned to whatever he thought he saw for a few seconds, before turning back around to face the tree he wanted to chop down.

However, barely a second passed before he felt a hand on his back.

The person grabbed him roughly, turned him around and pressed Grian into the tree by the neck.

It was a guy with blond hair, a bit lighter then Tim's tho this guy was a little taller then Tim or Joel per se.
He had coral in his hair and a small black bandana holding his hair back from falling into his face.

His eyes were a bright red tho Grian was close enough to see a purple ring around his pupils, indicating a bright blue eyecolour that he had before, whatever this game was.
His clothes looked like those of a pirate. The outfit had torn and was patched up all over as well as having blood stains. He also had some bloody bandages around his arms, legs and one around his stomach.

Suddenly his eyes widened like he was in shock. He let go of the struggling Grians neck, stumbling and falling to the ground in a sitting position.

"I- I'm sorry, but what the fuck happened to you?!?"
He shouted with a weird mixture of concern, confusion, fear and anger in his voice.
