The morning sun was shining through Grians copper blond curls, waking him up carefully.

His eyes fluttered open blinded by the sun.

Looking around he found himself laying in Joel's lap, his legs laying on a very much asleep Tim.

Joel looked tired and exhausted and so did Tim.
Grian rubbed his eyes, only then noticing the dried out tears on his cheeks and his sore eyes.
He has been crying, tho he forgot why.
As he moved his hand away from his eyes, he noticed that his fingertips formed an amethyst purple gradient down to his wrist where the clock sat.

The Timer on the clock had stopped which was odd. It showed the words "Night break" above the timer that had 13 hours and 6 minutes left on them.

He then noticed purple particles floating around him.
Now he was curious, has anything else changed and why did his appearance change in the first place.

He carefully sat up trying not to wake up Joel or Tim by shifting his weight.
He then hesitantly stood up placing his feet in the gaps of his two friends limbs.

He stepped away from the two, walking over to a piece of glass, reflecting his face.
The feathers that covered his face had turned into a shimmering purple colour, his face showed purple freckles, mostly underneath his eyes and on his nose.
The outer ring of his eyes was now purple, it faded into the emerald green everyone's eyes were coloured in. The ring around his pupils was in a hazel colour.

He looked down to his hands again, rolling up his sleeves to see if anything else changed.
The veins in his arms were a lot darker, running up his arm and shoulders, up his neck and down to his chest.

He rolled up his sweater revealing, his stomach and chest.
And there it was, a strange symbol right above where his heart was beating.

It looked like a swirl two dots vertically arranged, connected by two curved lines. It was glowing in a deep purple, pulsing to the rhythm of his heart.

Grian stared at the symbol.
Frozen in place.

Suddenly he saw faces Infront of him.
A boy with black hair in a blue shirt, someone blond with deep brown eyes, another blond with a black band and green clothes and so many more.
The memories send him stumbling to the floor.
His emotions uncontrollable and raw.

Two people with white hair, one with a red band holding his hair back, the other with a mask concealing his face.
All the faces and emotions associated with them overwhelmed him quickly.

But then suddenly his inner storm stopped at the face of him.
Emerald green eyes, brown hair tied to a loose bun, pointy ears and a scar covering almost the entire left side of his face.

It was Scar. The person he had met before.
He remembered it all.
He remembered how he swore to stay with Scar until he would die, how he was forced to be his soulmate another time and how he avoided him a third time, leaving him alone for good.

But he also remembered why he avoided him, why he betrayed him with a secret soulmate the other time.

It was him that he murdered.
He could see it right Infront of him.
Himself kneeling above someone he called his friend, punching a dagger through his heart.
Murdering him in the hot sand in a ring of catus, adding yet another scar to his chest.

"GRIAN !"

Grian gasped, breathing harshly, looking up into the skies.
Joel had pulled him out of his thoughts, his hand on Grians shoulder.

Grian was crying, tears flowing down his cheeks onto the floor, his sweater still rolled up completely revealing his upper body.

He was looking around eventually making eye contact with Joel, who exclaimed a sigh of relief.
