!Disclaimer!

This chapter contains a detailed description of a Kiss between two characters as well as some cheesy romance.
This is for plot reasons but you don't have to read this to understand the next chapter.

Grian ends up going into his subconscious at the end of this chapter to find out more about his past, because he found out how dangerous he can be.

That's all you need to know for the next chapter.

Have fun reading if you want to:)

(Ps: the start of the chapter is the continuation of the dialogue between Tim and Grian from the last chapter)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Grian stared at Tim.
"What do you mean, the rules I set up ?!?!"
Grian asked, highly confused.
"Look...",
Tim sighed as he spoke,
"I've known you for a really long time, since you were like really young. I still don't understand everything that happened to you and I fear that if I tell you everything, things are just gonna repeat themselves."
Tim tried to explain in the most non confusing way he could.
"You played a big part in creating these games along with other people. You were the guy that first brought us into the world and explained the rules face to face.
The guy in the field that we could go to for technical problems with the clocks and such."
He paused looking down at the floor, reflecting and remembering the other games.
"You came close to breaking rules many times but last time you went too far.
You were usually there to enforce rules and the other people you worked with weren't happy to see that you were breaking them yourself."
Tim explained watching Grian become more and more confused with each word he said.
"Which rules did I break ? How did I break them ? Who are these other people I worked with ?
Tim I have so many questions?!?"
Grian was freaking out a little bit.
"Ok listen, I'll tell you what I know ok ?"
Tim stated.
Grian nodded in return, turning his torso to face Tim.
"You were using special abilities, you have, to break the rules.
To make our lives here easier essentially. You got used to us, made friends with us down here.
Started hanging out with us in between games.
I don't know a lot more but my guess is that they didn't like that you felt empathy for us. Then you went a step too far in one of the big breaks."
Tim elaborated fully aware of what his friend was gonna ask next.
"Tim.... What did I do?.."
Grian asked, almost scared of the answer he would get.
"I knew you were gonna say this. Don't be scared, you didn't hurt anyone, at least none of us.
The others also had rules for the big breaks and rather harsh, physical punishments, One of us, Mumbo, broke one of those rules and received his punishment.
At least partially, because you interrupted them.
You basically launched yourself in front of mumbo taking the hit"
Tim remembered, staring at the floor.
The silence lingered for a moment.
Groan was trying to stomach all of the information.
"Was he hurt badly ?"
Grian asked carefully.
"Kinda yeah, that's way he isn't in the games right now.
Even you took a moment longer than usual to regenerate after taking the hit."
Tim confessed.
