Grian awoke in a setting he didn't quite expect.

He was chained up, both of his hands in shackles pointing to the edge of the ceiling next to him.

His legs were spread as his feet were chained to the ground far apart.

Behind him must've been a window as he saw his shadow before him, in the shape of an 'X'.

Before him he saw ,what must be steel or iron bars, in a pure white, the white was so bright that it almost looked like they were glowing.
The walls around him were also in the same bright white only slightly decorated with lavender details, little elegant swirls.
The room was empty with the exception of a large table to his right side.
The table was covered by what seemed like a simple piece of cloth, it had the symbol on it.

He looked down at himself, he was shirtless.
But most importantly, there was no symbol, there were also no wings on his back.

Suddenly the door to what he viewed as a prison cell, flew open.
A tall winged creature stepped foot into the cell.
4 pairs of proportionally way too large wings were hanging down it's back, whilst 2 pairs of smaller wings were in place of its ears.
The feathers were slightly puffed up, it seemed almost angry or jealous.
The creature was covered in a big rope, swaying, as it walked over to the covered table.
Half of its face was covered by a mask.
The mask seemed solid, almost burned onto its skin.
Several eyes were decorating the other side of its face, most of those eyes were small, almost looking like they were drawn on, only that they were slightly too 3d.

It didn't talk as it carefully removed the cover from the table, revealing a long ,pointy dagger.

Grian started to feel nervous, even close to terrified in his vulnerable, powerless state.

"H- Hey. Wha- What are you doing?"
He spoke through the thick, threatening atmosphere, stuttering slightly.

The creature spoke something in a language he did not understand, not changing it's facial expression once throughout.

It walked over, holding the dagger in both hands, pointed towards the ceiling.

Standing still in front of Grian, it dragged its rather large amethyst purple hands down the dagger, chanting something he didn't understand.

The creatures thick syrupy purple blood spilled onto the dagger, as it started to emit a slight glow.

Grians breath hitched as the creature brought the tip of the dagger in place Infront of his chest.

Then it began to draw something on his chest with the dagger.
An electrical, burning pain shot through the right side of his chest.

The creature didn't speak as it lifted the dagger from Grians chest up to point the tip directly at him again.

It chanted something, seemingly heavily focusing on its words.

Suddenly Grian felt the dagger breaking through his skin, then his muscle, then his rips until he felt it hitting his heart.

His heart rate fastened, his breathing shallowing and his strength left him.
The world around him spun until everything turned black.

...

.....

........

...........

He wasn't sure how much time had passed as the black turned into dark purple, then lavender, then an almost white pastel purple.

He gasped for air.
His heartbeat returning.
