March 5th

The seventh day of final selection has arrived. Haruto has survived all seven days, not running into Token, Tatara, or Yui once. Haruto has killed all of the demons he's encountered with ease except for the tree demon. It's now time for him to descend the mountain and finish final selection.

Haruto has a wrapping around his forehead from injury. His uniform is covered in dirt, scratches, and tears from his many battles. His face has many scratches and also has dirt all over it. Haruto runs forward into an open area. Trees surround the open area as a rock sits in the middle of the open area. Haruto sits on the rock as he huffs and puffs.

Suddenly Haruto hears rustling in the trees. He quickly perks his head up and is on guard. A man walks from the trees. A familiar uniform covered in dirt and scratches as well wearing a dark red Oni mask. Haruto can see the brown hair that sits behind the mask. The man takes his mask off as Haruto says his name. "Token..."

"Yo Haruto. Taking a break? You're weaker than I remember." Token looks down at Haruto condescendingly "I'm glad you're okay too..." More rustling is heard throughout the trees. "Looks like some demons decided to come play. If you want to prove that you aren't so weak then... I suggest you get to cleaning. See you at sunrise." Token says as he runs away from Haruto.

Multiple demons begin to come out of the trees. "One... Two... Three... Four... Seven... Nine... Nine! Nine demons?! You've officially done it, Token. I hate you!"

The demons all growl and begin to argue who eats Haruto. "He's mine back off!" is shouted between the incoherent growls. "FUCK OFF HE'S MINE!" another demon shouts as they get angry. "WAIT! Let's take him down. whoever gets him first keeps him!" The demons are silent for a moment before they charge at Haruto. "How the hell am I supposed to beat nine demons at once?! Just think of something! Anything!" A demon jumps up and is about to land on Haruto.

"Wind breathing: Fifth form. Cold mountain wind!" A man drops down from above and slices the demon's head off cleanly. The man has dark red hair and eyes. He's very tall and muscular. He kicks Haruto in the leg, causing him to fall. He grips his sword as he inhales.

"Wind breathing: Fourth form, rising dust storm!" He slashes all around him as two demons jump to attack, he cuts both of their heads off with this attack. "Tatara?!" Tatara smiles. "It's great to see you too, Haruto. They both stand back to back.

"Cmon Haruto lets go!" Tatara shouts. "Yeah!" Haruto grips his sword tightly as he inhales deeply. "Flame breathing: First form. Unknowing flame, manifest! Singing birds of the morning flame!" Hartuo dashes forward and cuts three demons heads off as the fourth charges him, he dodges and slices it's head off as well. Tatara stands above another defeated demon as the final one pops out to attack
