Dhanraj POV
Each road appeared to be a mile long at this moment, since I wanted to see my Ragini as soon as possible. I drove insanely, and finally after forty five minutes, my car was standing before the Thakur mansion.
I got off the car, and my eyes widened to witness my gypsy standing near the garage. One of our men was parking it inside, and Balraj bhaiya was instructing him.
An ear to ear smile etched on my face, deciphering that my elder brother, who was no less than a father figure for me, had rescued my car also, as he knew how much I loved my gypsy.
"Tum ek din me wapis aa Gaye?"
"You returned in just one day?"
Bhaiya asked, striding towards me.
"I killed all of them today itself!"
I grunted, and bhaiya smirked, and collected me in a soothing hug. My mind was solely anchored at Ragini, and I wrapped my arms around him lightly.
"Usse hosh aya kya bhaiya?"
"Did she wake up, bhaiya?"
I asked, and he shook his head, breaking the hug. His face fell low, and I asked for his permission to visit her. I strode to her room, and opened the gate gently. My mother was sitting beside her head, rubbing it lovingly. Her oxygen mask was already removed, but her beautiful doe eyes were still closed.
My breath hitched observing her irresistible enchanting body. She was a Goddess bedecked in human flesh.
"You are back?"
My mother's voice interrupted the surge of arousal surfing inside me, and I nodded. I narrated everything to her, and she blessed me as I bowed down to touch her feet.
I plunged my hand inside the pocket of my pants and brought out the Hari Chandan that the pujari ji had given to me. Scooping it on my index and middle finger, I applied it on her lissom neck, and her glowing forehead. She inhaled sharply, but didn't open her eyes.
I informed my mother about the basil leaves I had brought, and her eyes became tearful realising that her most notorious son had visited a temple today.
I came to the kitchen, and prepared a paste of leaves by myself. I couldn't trust anyone when it comes to my wife. I walked back to her room again, and parting her soft kissable lips, I made her lick that paste. She gulped it eventually, and I kept sitting there, waiting for her to wake up, but nothing worked. I didn't realise when I fell asleep.
"Dhanraj!"
I woke up, and found myself lying beside Ragini, my arm was wrapped around her slender waist. My mother was waking me up, because Ragini's fingers were showing some movements. It was late evening, and Dr. Dipti was sure that now Ragini would definitely wake up.
Her surreal eyelids moved upwards, and her inscrutable gaze was fixed on the ceiling.
"Ragini, my daughter!"
My mother cooed her, and her gaze shifted to her. Her eyes became teary extempore, and she sucked on her lower lip. I straightened up, and that is when she stole a glance of me. Our eyes met for a second, and she began trembling. Her breath turned uneven, and Dr. Dipti placed the oxygen mask back, covering her nose and mouth. She kept looking at me, and a lone tear travelled down her temple region.
"Dhanraj bhaiya, mujhe lagta ye apse dar rahi hai. Aap please jaiye yaha se!"
"Dhanraj bhaiya, I think she is scared of you. You please leave right now!"
