The story takes place two years before Balraj and Mandakini's wedding. This was the time when Balraj was suffering from depression and the Thakur family was scattered like a mess.
Dhanraj was exactly the opposite of what is now. He was the 'unstoppable mad bull' of the Thakur family, whereas Balraj is the 'Lion' and Jairaj is the 'Wolf' of this family.
