Ragini POV

"Mandiru! Stop my dearie. You'll fall down."

I shrieked, taking faster steps behind my five years old girl when her father picked me up from behind.

"I've told you so many times not to run like this when you're pregnant."

He groaned, walking to the bed.

"Pappaaaa! Pappaaaa!"

Little Mandiru also ran to us, and rose her arms requesting her father to lift her up in his arms like he did to me.

"Yes, my daughter. Come!"

He smiled at her, and instantly picked her up in his arms, eventually cooing her. She kept blabbering and started playing with his beard. They are so good together.

"When is my toy coming out of mumma's tummy?"

She asked in her cute baby voice, pointing her little index finger towards my swollen belly.

After five years of my daughter's birth, I could conceive again. Luckily Manu is also pregnant, but she will deliver to months before me. My dear Inayat is also two months pregnant. We got to know this yesterday itself.

Ma is so excited to witness five children altogether since both Manu and Inu are carrying twins inside them. I'm visiting the studio and my office occasionally these days because I'm six months pregnant now, and my husband wants me to take rest.

Ragini Dhanraj Singh Thakur - my studio now offers budding singers a chance to become popular among the folks, and the Shakti NGO, whose foundation I had laid years ago to rescue women from toxic marriages, has 10000 women now, who are working in their fields of interest.

I could never so strong, responsible and independent as I feel now, all because of my dear husband, who is currently massaging my swollen feet, my calves resting over his thighs.

"This is how man should treat his woman, got it my daughter? Don't let anyone roam around you if he cannot treat you like his queen!"

He adviced our five years old product, and she nodded obediently as if she could understand what her father was advising her.

"Did you get it, Mandira?"

I asked her, and she crawled on the bed to come close to me.

"Yes! I understand that I'll soon get a toy to play with."

She mumbled, chuckling after it, her little palms encircled my belly lovingly.

"See this is what she understood."

I jeered my husband, who also laughed at our daughter's words.

"I'm going to see badi ma. She is also having two toys in her belly."

Mandiru chirped, running away to Balraj bhaiya's room. She keeps running here and there all the time.

"Jaana, I hope you are not in pain."

Thakur ji asked me, slipping beside me smoothly, engulfing me in a soothing hug.

"No, Jaan. Motherhood isn't easy, but mothers love this ache because they await happiness in the form of children after this."

I mumbled, wrapping my arms around him. Gradually, the days passed and Manu gave birth to twin boys. Bhaiya was happy, but his longing for a daughter was not sufficed.

My condition began worsening as I reached the end stages of my pregnancy. The labour was exactly like the previous one - painful, but smooth. I gave birth to a boy this time.
