Ragini POV
"I love you, thakur ji."
I couldn't stop myself from admitting this, and his grip around my waist tightened.
"My Jaana! I love you more." He groaned, stroking my body comfortably.
"We need to finish it up now."
I brought my head out of the embrace, and referred to the bath that was pending.
"I'll do it by myself now."
He grunted, his bulge was still hard. I couldn't decipher why was he saying so.
"No! I'll do it for you."
I implored, my hands caressed his biceps.
"Jaana! I need to be alone for some time please."
He begged, his pupils made a circle before he could complete his statement.
"Okay!"
I agreed and came out of the bathtub. I wore my bathing gown before him, his intense gaze was darted on me. I moved out of the bathroom, lowering my gaze and closed the door.
Why did he send me out? Did he want to pee? Perhaps this could be a reason.
I dried the ends of my hair and covered myself in the blouse and petticoat. I draped the saree around me, that is when he came out.
I asked him to lie down on the bed, on his tummy and he did so. I took a place beside him, and began cleaning his wounds with an antiseptic solution, followed by applying ointment on it.
"Ragini, may I come inside?"
It was Balraj bhaiya, from the other side of the door.
"Ji, bhaiya!"
I answered, correcting my pallu. The gate was already unlocked, so he came inside, with two plates of breakfast.
"You were getting late, so I brought it here."
Thakur ji lifted up his head, and faced his side with a smile on his face. Balraj bhaiya sat beside him on the other side.
"Agli baar kuch Aisa sucha na to kantaap khayega. Tumhe pata hai tumhari patni khana nahi khati thi jab Tak tumhari ankhe band thi."
"I will thrash you on your face if you plan of doing something like this again. You know your wife couldn't eat when you were lying in the hospital."
He scolded thakur ji lovingly, and he pouted. The mad bull pouted.
"Where were you when that bastard thrashed my wife?"
He enquired bhaiya, his voice suddenly turned hoarse. My breathing rate fastened with this quick shift in the environment.
"I went there. I stopped him!"
Bhaiya exclaimed, his voice turned serious too.
"Did you slap him?"
Thakur ji asked. Why the hell was he asking such questions? How could bhaiya hit his own father?
"Dhanu, I couldn't. That was a hospital and he is my father."
Bhaiya asserted, patting his shoulder gently, to calm him down.
"AND SHE IS MY WIFE, WHO WAS THRASHED PUBLICLY IN THE HOSPITAL!"
He bellowed at bhaiya, raising a little up.
"DHANU! He is our father. We can't thrash him.....or I should say, thrash him publicly."
