"We will get back to the mansion tonight."

He asserted, and a shiver ran through my spine, discerning how everyone will react there gawking at these darkened marks.

He was about to get up, when a creak sound disturbed both of us.

"What was that?"

I enquired, being befuddled. He immediately yanked me on his shoulder, and kept the tray on the side table. Within a few moments, one leg if the bed crumbled, and it bent down in a weird fashion.

"Hey Bhagwan!"

I shrieked, gawking at the broken bed.

"I think I went too wild."

He grunted, clearing his throat. It was obviously his 'teasing' tone.

"What the hell will you say to the workers or your brothers?"

I asked, in a fake angry tone, and he chuckled.

"They call me 'bull' for a reason, Jaana."

"Manjle thakur.....!"

It was Kaaki's voice. She was back again, but we didn't know why? He began striding to her, still carrying me in his arms, in the bridal style now.

"Ji Kaaki? You didn't go back?"

He asked, but I was feeling extremely shy to face her now. I hid my face in his chest, and I knew that she was smirking at me.

"It took me an hour to water the entire garden of yours. I had sent the gardener back also because...."

She didn't say anything after that

"Because..?"

Thakur ji asked, in an authoritative tone.

"Umm... Ragini daughter's clothes were lying in the mud, the....umm.... underwear too, and when I reached the backyard, I saw a messed up bed over there, with some blood stains, so I didn't want that male worker to see all that, umm....so I did it all by myself."

She mumbled, in a timid and frightened voice. I couldn't hide my face from her anymore. I glanced at her, with indistinct tears in my eyes.

"Thank you so much, Kaaki!"

I muttered, in a low and coy voice.

"Nahi nahi bitiya. Iski jarurat nahi. Tum to hamari bachi ho."

"No daughter. That's not needed. You are my daughter now."

I felt overwhelmed, he smiled too.

"You stay here Kaaki. I'll prepare lunch for all of us today."

He declared, making me sit on a couch lying over there.

"No son! I can't let you work. I am the worker."
