Third person pov.

Jennie brought another tray of appetizers into the den for her guests. There were about twenty or so people over to watch the big game. Among those people was Lisa course.

She sat at the kitchen bar and watched the game from there. She was nervous. The entire game had been neck and neck. There was never any clear lead.

Just when you thought one team would get ahead, the other team would come back. Jennie and Lisa were both pretty nervous. They both had a lot to lose with this game. Still, nervous or not, that wouldn't stop either of them from trash talking.

"I hope you enjoyed your last night of freedom." Lisa said, popping one of the baby tomatoes from the tray Jennie was holding into her mouth.

Jennie smirked. "Oh, does the bet start immediately after the game?" She asked. Usually, they would wait until the next day.

Lisa nodded. "Unless, of course, you've changed your mind. Perhaps you'd like to back out. I'd understand, you know, if it was too daunting."

Jennie rolled her eyes and laughed. "Imagine that. Me backing out of a bet. As if, Lili."

A scowl crossed Lisa 's face. "Don't call me that."

Jennie tilted her head and looked down at Lisa with a condescending smile painted on her face.

"I guess I'll just wait until the game is over to call you whatever I want." Jennie gently pinched Lisa 's chin, but let go before Lisa could swat her hand. That really ruffled Lisa 's feathers.

She could not go on an entire year with Jennie being her Domme. That would drive her crazy. Her team had to win. That entire exchange was horrific. Lisa left the bar and sat closer to the action.

It was silly, but the more focused she felt on the game, the greater her team's odds of winning were. Jesus, Lisa thought to herself, she really did have a problem. She was starting to become superstitious.

Jennie left the action of the party downstairs and retired to her room for a bit to recharge. Her big football party was fun but quickly draining. Every year, she said she wasn't going to do it but ended up hosting anyway.

Why did she do this to herself? Well, she liked the smile on everyone's face and knowing people had a good time because of her hospitality.

Plus, it was an excuse to cook. Jennie loved cooking. She loved cooking just as much as she loved sex. If her team lost today, at least she would still have food.

She frowned at the idea of a life without sex. Even if it was temporary, a year was a really long time. Suddenly, there was a thunderous sound of both cheers and boos. There was shouting, cursing, and clapping.

Obviously, something either really great just happened or really terrible, depending on who you were cheering for. Jennie got up from her bed and decided to check on the madness downstairs.

She saw Lisa staring at her in disbelief. Jennie could tell by the look on her friend's face that things were about to get really interesting.
