third person pov.

After her morning shenanigans, Lisa prepared breakfast for Jennie while she was in the shower. Lisa didn't have a vast knowledge of all things vegan or know a bunch about cooking, but she knew for sure she could manage oatmeal and fruit. It was easy and quick. Plus she needed to make up for being a bad girl that morning. This was her simple way of apologizing. When Jennie came downstairs she was greeted by a smiling, fully dressed, Lisa . Lisa pulled her chair out for her and urged her to sit.

Jennie smirked, confused as to what was happening. Still, she sat and waited to see what would happen. Lisa placed the bowl of oatmeal and the bowl of mixed fruit before her and stood waiting for Jennie to say something. Jennie looked down at the food and chuckled. Lisa had spelled out "Sorry" with raisins across the oatmeal.

"This is for me?" She questioned.

"Yes, silly!" Lisa said before it hit her. Jennie didn't eat breakfast. She drank those green smoothie breakfast shake things. She felt like an idiot. The smile she had quickly faded into a frown. "But... you don't eat breakfast. I'm sorry... again." She began to grab the bowls but Jennie stopped her.

"No, love. Stop. I want to eat it." Jennie said picking a single raisin from the bowl and popping it into her mouth. She thought it was sweet Lisa went through the trouble of making her food. No one ever really cooked for her. It was always the other way around.

"Are you sure? You don't have to just because you think it'll hurt my feelings." Lisa said but she couldn't help the smile that was crossing her face.

"I'm positive. I appreciate you making this for me. Thank you." Jennie said before she started in on her oatmeal. It was just the right consistency. Jennie hated when it came out too lumpy or too watery. This was just right. She snickered to herself thinking about Goldie locks and the three bears. She tore herself aways from her inner musings and looked around. "Where's your oatmeal?" She asked.

"I can't stick around today. I have a super big meeting in...." Lisa looked at her watch and frowned. It was later than she thought.

"Go kick ass." Jennie said. She was checking Lisa out in her professional wear. It was sexy. Her pants weren't super tight but they were snug enough in the places it mattered the most to Delilah. Her white button up shirt would have been quite the see through treat if Lisa wasn't wearing a tight fighting camisole under it. Her blonde hair was bone straight and cascading down her back.

"That is always the plan." Lisa absentmindedly said as she typed out a message on her phone. It was Tracy. Apparently their meeting had been moved up ten minutes and was now on the floor above them. She was completely unaware that Jennie was checking her out so intently.

"Oh Lis. I needed to ask you something." Jennie said snapping out of her trance.

Lisa never looked up from her phone. "Who's asking? Jen or Daddy?"

Jennie chuckled. "Jennie. I need your advice about a girl. Legal advice."

She had Lisa 's full attention now. She put her phone away and sat down across from Delilah. "What happened?"

Jennie wiped her mouth and sat up straighter than she already was. "Nothing yet but maybe it will. The thing is she works at one of the restaurants."

Lisa squinted her eyes and knitted her brow in confusion. The features of her face relaxed when she realized what Jennie was going on about. "You... like her?"

Jennie noticed the subtle contempt in Lisa 's voice. She wasn't sure how to address it. Was she jealous?

 "I wouldn't call it that."

"What would you call it?" Lisa asked. It was happening. She was turning into the green eyed swamp monster. She could feel the sharp icicles of jealousy prickling at her skin. She tried to hide it but she could tell she probably wasn't doing a very good job.

"Interested." Jennie answered. She swallowed the cherry that was in her mouth. "I'm sorry. Are you upset with me?"

"What would I be upset about?" Lisa asked crossing her arms. She was upset but that was for her to know, not Delilah.

"Lis." Jennie said gently. She didn't want to hurt her feelings. Before anything else, Lisa was her best friend. She didn't want Lisa to resent her. "Do you not want me to talk about other women with you?" She asked.

"I guess I just wasn't aware that there would be other women while we were.... doing this." Lisa explained.

Jennie slow blinked. Honestly, it made her feel kind of good that Lisa would want her to herself. Like, she didn't want to share her. Jennie wasn't used to living a monogamous lifestyle, but if she was going to give it a shot for anyone it might as well be Lisa . "Would you like for there to be no one else?" Jennie asked.

Lisa clenched her jaw. She didn't want to seem like the lame one who had caught feelings too early or at all. She leaned back and released the tension she was unknowingly holding in her shoulders. She shrugged. "I don't care, but if you're going to pursue her you need to protect yourself. Contact your HR department and have them draft a consensual relationship agreement. Email it to me so I can look over it. You'll both have to sign it."

Jennie nodded. She couldn't tell where Lisa 's head was. She didn't know if it was safe to ask either. She didn't want to spark Lisa 's temper. "Okay. Thank you. Are you sure you don't care?"

Lisa stood and smoothed the wrinkles from her blouse, a move she made when she was nervous. "Yeah. Positive. I have to go." Lisa knew she was lying, but she refused to give into her jealousy and her pride wouldn't let her admit it to Delilah.

"Okay. I'll see you Friday, right?" Jennie asked. The air in the room was different. Tense wouldn't describe it but it definitely wasn't as light as it was before she brought up Yumi.

"That's the agreement." Lisa said coolly. "See ya." She marched from the kitchen before Jennie could say anything else and the next thing Jennie heard was the front door closing. She took a deep breath and quietly finished the rest of her food. She had ate most of the oatmeal and raisins. The only letter that still remained was Y. It felt a bit taunting. Jennie sniggered at the irony.
