A misfortune

Kiera woke up early today, she did the bright red colored parts of her hair into her iconic pigtails as well as separated her two blonde streaks hanging down from each side of her face and fixed up her black v-shaped bangs. She put on her pentagram earrings and septum before putting on her fishnet top, short velvety black laced dress and separate velvet black flowy sleeves.

She pulled up her fishnet stockings, put on a garter on her right leg and did her makeup that set the whole "goth" aesthetic for her. She truly enjoyed dressing this way since her witchy vibes helped out with attracting more customers.

She ate her breakfast put on her big chunky black boots and went out to her car. She drove until she reached a little corner within the city with a few buildings lined up together. She got out of her car and walked up to one of them, a long button-shaped black key in one hand. There was a big sign that said "Cobweb Spells" with a little cartoonish bubbling cauldron picture on the side of the sign which was located a bit further up from the doors of the building.

She unlocked the doors, stepped inside and flipped the "closed" sign on the door around to "open". A few hours passed as she opened up the shop, a few customers came in and bought some crystals, candles or incense sticks and all, nothing new...until...Kiera saw a familiar face enter the shop.

It was Lana, walking inside as she put one of her long curly ginger locks behind her ear. She walked up to the front register where Kiera was, the white skirt of her dress flowing as she walked which complimented the pink corset-like top of it that was decorated with pearls which were accompanied by a pearl necklace with a little daisy charm on it and pearl earrings. Her two pastel yellow puffy sleeves had a daisy pattern on them as well.

"Hey Kiera..."

Lana says as she looks up at the chubby goth girl sitting in front of her, dressed in all black and fishnets, of course. Her pale face and dark makeup drew attention to her septum piercing and snake bites.

"Hey girl, it's so nice to see you! Here to get your chakra aligned or something?"

Kiera asks while smiling at the nervous-looking ginger bookworm in her pretty flower-themed princess-like flowy dress, her freckles going down all the way from her rosy cheeks and covering all of her body. Her fingers went through her long curly locks as her pale green eyes averted Kiera's gaze behind her circular lensed glasses.

"No...not really I um...I'm actually here to ask for some protective charms or crystals or anything else that you're willing to offer..."

Lana says as her cheeks redden a bit and her hands start moving a little faster while going through her hair.

"Oh...alright but, may I ask what you need all that for? You're not in danger or something...are you...?"

Kiera asks as she leans over the counter a bit closer to Lana, her voluptuous breasts pressing up together as her cleavage sticks out under her fishnet top while pressing up against the wooden surface.

"Well kind of- I- you guys keep sneaking out and...Im scared Kiera. What if you attract the giants here? What if they find the way to our city- to all of our cities?? I...please, we have to protect ourselves..."

Lana says as her pale green eyes finally focus in on Kiera's emerald green ones, looking a bit more panicked than usual.

"Lana, girl chill- no one's gonna discover the city. Why are you so worried about that...?- And second of all how the hell did you even find that out?"

Kiera asks as she rubs her temple with her index finger and thumb in frustration, knowing how hard it is to calm Lana down especially when she's this distressed.
