It was the day of the competition. Jocelyn and Josh were together behind the DJ booth. Josh noticed that Jocelyn was awake, where as she had been sleeping earlier. "Hey Joc," Josh said, and Jocelyn waved in response. Concerned, Josh asked, "How's your ankle feeling?" Jocelyn replied, "It hurts, feels like I broke it." Josh then asked if she could move it, to which Jocelyn tried but experienced shooting pains, causing her to cry.
"If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, I'll take you to the hospital, alright?" Josh reassured Jocelyn. She nodded in agreement. "Take it easy and catch your breath," Josh advised Jocelyn, urging her to settle down. The competition starts
