In the gym, Jocelyn was dancing with the dance team. Josh smirked as he saw Jocelyn dancing with them. Suddenly, Jocelyn's ankle snapped and she fell to the ground in pain.
Mary and Sammy rushed to her side, asking if she was okay. Jocelyn started crying and groaning from the pain. Josh took off his headphones and went over to Jocelyn.
Mary instructed Sammy to get some ice, while she held onto Jocelyn's ankle. Mary assured the dance team that she had it under control. She then asked Jocelyn if she could try to move her ankle. However, every time Jocelyn tried, she cried out in pain.
Sammy returned with the ice, and Mary placed it on Jocelyn's ankle. Josh spoke up, saying that he would take care of it. Mary asked everyone to back up and give them some space. Josh picked Jocelyn up and comforted her, telling her that everything would be okay.
Jocelyn continued to cry, and Josh kissed her forehead, trying to calm her down. They were in the midst of this when the principal walked in and asked for everyone's attention.
Principal: our school has finally been invited to the competition after many years.
Mary: are you being serious?
Josh grins and Jocelyn playfully punches her brother in the stomach.
Principal: and there's a possibility that our school might host the competition this year.
Everyone was even more surprised.
Principal: only if you win the few remaining competitions.
Mary: consider it done.
Principal: now get back to work, guys. We have a tough match against the hornets this week, and they have been winning a lot lately.
Mary rushes over to Josh and Jocelyn. Jocelyn embraces Mary and then gives Josh a kiss on the lips. They all return to their tasks. Jocelyn makes eye contact with Sammy; they both give thumbs-ups and exchange heart gestures.
