Continuation of Drip

"Wednesday?" Enid called out to the quiet room. She came back to the room after three days of rooming with Yoko. She figured that would have given Wednesday enough time to think about their disagreement. "Wednesday? You here?"

She walked into the room, smelling copper instantly. Her nose scrunched in distaste. If she had to guess, the goth had done another taxidermy project. Going away from the door, her foot collided with something solid and soft.

Looking down, she took note of Thing crawling on top of her shoe. "Hey, buddy. Do you know where Wednesday is?" He pointed behind him, to a folded piece of paper.

Picking it up, she noticed a splatter of brownish red on the white page. "What is this?" Thing settled down on the bed, waiting. The blonde shrugged but opened up the letter with two fingers, trying not to touch the dried liquid.

Enid Sinclair, I dont know what you did to me. But you were the best and worst thing that has somehow crawled into my life. I still, even as I type this, and solemnly regret what I have done, still love you. But it seems, you wish for my life to end. And I would move the Earth to make your wishes come true. Fortunately for the both of us, I do not need to move more than my fingers. Even that is becoming hard as of now. To make this brief, this is me fulfilling your last wish, and therefore mine. Enid, I wanted to make you an Addams. The ring is in my desk drawer, its stone opal and the metal gold. Do what you please with it, till death do us meet again.

I love you.

Wednesday Addams.

"Th-Thing? Where i-is she?" Enid asked, tears running down her face. The hand pointed to their shared bathroom. The blonde dropped the letter, rushing to the cracked door, where she noticed more of the dried red liquid. "W-Weds?"

There, laying with her back to the tub, laid the even paler body of the goth, the blood around her body having puddled and cracked. Her head lolled to the side, eyes wide and vacant.

Enid fell to her knees, crawling carefully, not caring about the clotting cells sticking to her hands and legs.

"No! Wednesday!" She screamed, grabbing Wednesday. She was cold to the touch, and her body stiff. "This is not what I wanted! Im sorry!" She quickly laid Wednesday down on the floor, starting chest compressions. She tried for what felt like hours before her body gave out, falling on top of the small teen.

Thing scurried into the room, climbing on top of the distraught werewolf. "Im going to call her parents." " She wanted you to find her before I called, that was her last wish." Thing signed.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL AN AMBULANCE!" Enid screamed.

"Shes been dead for two days, Sinclair, it would have been no use after you left the room. You wasted too much time yelling at her."

"This is m-my fault"

Thing signed "Finally you're right about something." He crawled to the door. "She loved you dearly." He signed, leaving the room.

The wolf moved her fragile body onto her lap, hugging Wednesday. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" She started rocking back and forth, sobs wracked her body. "I'm so so sorry!"

She loved her. She really did.

She loved her. She loved her. She loved her.

Stilling, Enid looked down into the wide, dull eyes, taking a hand and gently caressing her cold face.

"I love you too."
