Third Person
"Holy fuck," Brian said to Heaven, shocked.
"I should have bitch slapped him like Will did to Chris" she said, lowering her head.
"On my soul," Brian stated, agreeing with her.
"I still can't believe he's married. He made me feel.... loved"
"Aw, you really liked him," Brian said, noticing Heaven's distress.
"I do, even though it was a few months. I thought I meant something to him," Heaven said, on the verge of tears.
Brian quickly wrapped his arms around his little cousin. "I know it hurts right now, butterfly, but at least you know now before things get too deep."
"Why am I always the one getting hurt?" Heaven asked, her voice cracking.
"Hey, look at me," Brian said, holding up her head. " You're going to kiss a couple of frogs before you find your prince, and when you do, I promise you it will be worth it. And remember, family is always here to support you, no matter what."
"Thanks, Brian," Heaven said, sniffling.
Tuesday to the following day. James stepped into his classroom, and all went silent. He loved it. His eyes scanned the room and landed on Heaven Gates. He definitely saw why Alessandro was into her. She was breathtaking, and everyone around her knew it. James was going to make sure Alessandro explored his feelings; after all, that was his best mate. James could see that Heaven was embarrassed from their earlier encounter and chuckled.
"Good afternoon, class," James said with a charming smile. He knew how much the females had adored him. Heaven wanted to just disappear into thin air; she was so embarrassed. She knew he heard every word she said the day before to Alessandro and probably thought of her as a whore. As soon as the class was dismissed, she flashed out of there. James, however, found it very amusing.
"Heaven," she heard someone call. She looked and saw that it was the headmaster, Dr. Whyte.
"Dr. Whyte," she said, her heart racing. She started wondering if Dr. James had said anything about what he overheard her saying to Alessandro.
"Heaven, dear, how have you been doing?" Dr. Whyte asked.
"I'm fine, and how are you doing?" she smiled.
"I'm good, dear. I wanted to talk to you about having a teacher tutor you."
"Why?" she questioned, surprised.
"Dear, you've missed three months of school, and you need someone to bring you up to speed as soon as possible. Oh, look, just the professor I had in mind," Dr. Whyte said, gesturing to Edward James, who was walking in their direction.
"You've got to be kidding me," Heaven whispered as she saw the male figures.
"Dr. James, can I steal a moment of your time?" Dr. Whyte asked.
"Sure," James said curious as to why Dr. Whyte wanted to talk to him.
"I was wondering if you could fit this lovely lady into your schedule? She needs a tutor, not that she's not brilliant, but she has missed three months of school due to some personal issues."
