⇝ ⇝ ⇝ It was getting dark out when we returned, sunset time. Felix and I let the others head inside as we walked further down the street. As we walked down the path, Felix and I strolled side by side, his shoulder occasionally brushing against my arm. The sun was shining brightly on the horizon, casting a warm and comforting glow over the surroundings. The gentle breeze carried with it the scent of freshly bloomed flowers and the distant sound of chirping birds. We were lost in our little world, enjoying each other's company and the peacefulness of the moment.

"I'm going to buy some ingredients for brownies," Felix told me as we spotted the store at the end of the street.

"They sell the ingredients here?" I asked him, looking at the little corner shop.

Felix shrugged as we walked inside, "I hope so,"

I smiled as I followed Felix around the store as he looked for ingredients. Perhaps in the tiny space of the shop, our dynamic looked a little weird. A 5'7 man shopping with a large bodyguard following him around like a dog. It kind of made me laugh in my head - but watching Felix look for ingredients felt very domestic. If only I wasn't in my uniform with a case in hand which held a sniper rifle inside.

"It looks like they only have some ingredients for brownies here..." Felix said as he stood up straight from looking at a bottom shelf.

"Do you have any other plans, perhaps we can get brownie ingredients another time?" I suggested to him and he nodded before walking down another aisle.

"Tteokbokki time," Felix sang out quietly as he picked up two small packets with some Korean words on them.

"What is that?" I asked him as he dropped them into the basket he had.

"You haven't tried tteokbokki yet?" Felix asked and I shook my head.

Ever since I arrived in Korea, I have mostly been relying on the breakfast bars my boss handed to me in London, and instant ramen heats up with boiling water. Despite being grateful for the food, I must admit that surviving on such a limited diet has been a bit challenging. Hopefully, I can soon find some local cuisine that I enjoy and broaden my culinary horizons. Seems Felix was going to introduce me to something new.

"Well, you're about to," Felix said with a smile and he went to the counter to pay for the things he put in his basket.

The same elderly woman was standing behind the till prepared to serve Felix. She took one glance at me and then paid me no mind - seeing me for the 3rd time has probably put her more at ease with my threatening presence. For once, I felt I could exist in this store without having to step outside so she could breathe properly.

We slowly walked back down the street again towards our apartments and I noticed an unfamiliar thing sitting outside my apartment building. I looked at it as the fresh metal shined under the sun, the gleam of the light hitting against the adjacent wall - then I smiled.

"Wow, what is that?" Felix asked as he followed me to look at it better.

"A black sports bike," I told him as I admired the motorbike sitting outside of the apartment building.

I noticed a note was stuck to the handles, I picked it up and looked at the writing. My name was written in posh italics and I knew immediately the bike was a gift from the government goons I was working with.

I smiled in delight, it had taken them a while but a bike was so much handier to have. The motorbike was an absolute beauty. It was all black, with sleek silver decoration that added a touch of elegance to its overall design. The handles were wide and black, providing a comfortable grip, and the wind protection was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and stable ride even in windy conditions. I could do with this.
