The title will make sense at the very end. This chapter is going to introduce the timeskip tag (basically, the description tag except it's a question mark rather than an exclamation mark) and the thought tag (speech tag but it has an asterisk before it) :3! So like, don't get confused.

This actually took FOUR months (the first one of which I spent forgetting that this existed or just abstaining from working on it)... 😞😞‼️‼️

✦——————✦

- ! It was a peaceful day in the Hub... If you could consider it like that. But, compared to other days, it was certainly less chaotic.
That reminds me! I should probably tell you what exactly prompted this description...

- ! ... Not much there was to do, in Bloodmage's life, save for a bit of eavesdropping here and there. Not maliciously though — only for documentation purposes. Why document this? Well... Just for the fun of it.

- ! Currently, he was doing the usual poking around, scanning for people, when the sound of something going ablaze was heard just around the corner. He took a look at whatever was going on (which was, really, a crime), then looked a bit harder.

- ! It appeared to him, that the person who had started the fire was using some form of magic. A magic quite similar to his, Bloodmage supposed. There seemed no point in trying to speak to the person now, but Bloodmage made a note of what they looked like before slinking back into the shadows.

- ! A few hours later, when it was nearing nighttime, he was sitting inside the regional potion tavern. One of the few people who also happened to be in there was conversing with a worker behind the counter. Friends, or siblings, he supposed. Though he couldn't help but notice the staff the person had on their back, along with a hat which almost defied gravity – which meant there was a pretty good chance that they could also be a magic user. He noted this person down as well, and exited the building.

- ! It had taken a while (about a fortnight) to get enough information on the two people written down, but he soon enough found out their residings, and sent
– if you could call crawling up the sides of their homes and leaving a note on the windowsill of their bedrooms 'sending' – them both notices of the thing that he wanted the two to attend.

- ! The one with the hat arrived first. He looked around, and then at the person who seemed to be frozen in time.

???
> HEY-! Hey.
> Ah, 'Bloodmage', right? I'm here for this sort of... club, you're orchestrating.
> Or should I call it a troupe? Hm.

- ! Bloodmage raised his head, then turned to look at him. The shouting hadn't exactly alerted him, but the mention of the earlier message did.

Bloodmage
> Oh yeah, right...
> Well, I'd... prefer you sat down... preferably on the leftmost side.
> And, if you don't mind, would you enlighten me on your name and occupation?

??? [Wizard]
> Ah, yes. Ahem.
> I'm Wizard. I'm... a wizard. And I guess I might as well tell you my relations?
- ! He muttered, only just loud enough for the other male to hear, while shuffling onto the (actually, rather soft) carpet, and leaving room at the right of him, like asked. Bloodmage acknowledged this statement, and shook his head.

Bloodmage
> No, that won't be needed. Thanks, anyway.
> So... Now we just wait for the other person to arrive...

- ! And suddenly, Wizard had a bit of a revelation.

Wizard
> Wait, you mentioned this was a spellcasting group, right?

- ! Bloodmage nodded.
