It's currently September 16th and the league starts in 2 days. We all arrived at training early due to the team wanting to do a few hours of team bonding before training and it was easier to do it at the training ground.
"I'm going to go to the cafe down the road, anyone want anything" I say and a few people just ask for coffee. Alexia slips some money into my pocket and I roll my eyes at her. I wanted to pay as a treat so i try to give it back but she just laughs and walks away.
When I get there, I wait in line and when I reach to front I'm met by the most beautiful girl behind the counter who looks about 17. I must have been staring too long because she chuckles.
"What can I get you gorgeous" she smiles and my heart beat speeds up.
"Um 8 coffee's please" I say, probably as red as a tomato right now. I hand her the money and she nods.
"Coming right up" she says, turning to make them as another barrista comes to take the next person's order.
After a little while, she calls me over and hands me 8 coffee's in the cup holders that hold 4 cups. I stack them ontop of eachother. I push the tissues into my pocket, not looking at them and I carry the coffee's out the cafe and head back to the training ground.
When I get inside and back to where everyone is sat, I place the coffee's down, taking one for myself before pulling the tissues out my pocket. As I'm about to place them down I notice something on them.
It's a number with the words: text me - luna
The barrista gave me her number. I clearly blush because mapi tries grabbing it from my hand. I quickly pull it back, pushing it into my pocket.
"Oh come on, what was written on the tissue" she asked like a gossiping teenager. This grabs the attention of everyone as leila joins in. Soon enough everyone is asking what's written on the tissue.
"Stop I won't tell you" I laugh, walking to sit on the arm of the sofa where no one is and i type her number into my phone and quickly sending a message.

I quickly turn off my phone and hear a voice behind me.
"Who's luna" I jump up and turn to see Jenni who had walked in and looked over my shoulder.
"Fuck don't do that" I yell, clutching my chest.
"What did it say Jenni" leila asked and jenni laughs, catching onto what happened.
"Someone called Luna gave sweet baby Rosa her number" jenni teased and I run to the sink, placing the tissue under the tap so it disolved and the girls can't get her number.
"Girl, all you did was go to the cafe and you come back with a girls number!" Mapi laughs and I groan.
"And?" I say, slumping down next to Alexia.
"Was she cute" alexia asked and I groan.
"Not you too"
"Well was she" claudia asked.
"Was she what?" I try playing dumb.
"Was she cute" aitana asked.
As I think about how stunning Luna was, I bite down on my bottom lip while the corners of my mouth, twist upwards.
"Oh my, Rosa is bright red" sandra chuckles and I cover my face with a cushion.
"Okay guys you had your fun" alexia says, getting them to stop.
I remove the cushion when I feel my phone vibrate.

I blush hard but then remember I don't know for sure how old she is and I could be messaging a 25 year old.

I like her message and turn my phone off, smiling at my phone.
We head to training after a little while and we do alot of passing work aswel as defensive work.
As we are all sat in the cafeteria after training, I pull out my laptop to finish my psychology essay that is due tonight.
I decide to sit at a table alone so that I don't get distracted. I put my headphones on to block everything out.
About an hour later, everyone begins to pack up to head off and I managed to submit my essay just as Alexia walks over to me.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Yeah, just finished actually" I chuckle and place my laptop in my bag before walking to the car with alexia.
During the drive home, Luna messages me.
From Luna 😍 So what have you been up to all day that needed 8 large coffee's
I chuckle to myself which earns a weird look from alexia.
To Luna 😍 They weren't all for me, I had football training and i offered to get some of my teammates coffee
From Luna 😍 You play football? What team do you play for?
To Luna 😍 Yes, I just transferred to barcelona
From Luna 😍 So you're not from around here?
To Luna 😍 Nope, I transferred from Arsenal, a team in England
From Luna 😍 But you don't have an English accent
To Luna 😍 I'm only half English, my Italian accent is stronger
Just as I send that message, alexia clears her throat, letting me know we are home.
"You're smiling again" Alexia chuckled and I blush.
"Yeah, yeah I am" I say, smiling at my phone that is now off in my hand.
