3rd P.O.V.

Lloyd had to scream at Jay's face really loudly to wake him up.

The guy seemed to be stuck in another mindspace!

At the fifth yell, he finally blinked his eyes open and scowled at me.

"And just when I was getting relaxed! Man, you're such a party pooper."

Cole and Zane stiffened slightly.

(A/N: *wiggles eyebrows*)

Lloyd quickly apologized.

"Sorry- it's just that everyone else is here-"

"Yeah, I've got eyes, Lloyd."

He slowly got up and stretched, before walking over to where everyone was.

Lloyd cleared his throat.

"Okay, so today Ja-sorry, Agent Walker will be joining us in training-"

He was immediately met with loud protests.

"I do believe Jay doesn't have prior experience?"

"Jay might get hurt!"

"But-"

"SHUT UP!"

The protests were interrupted by a pissed Jay.

"I hate doubt! I absolutely despise it!"

The Agent's composure faltered just for a bit, as if he were experiencing his own internal turmoil.

(A/N: *wiggles eyebrows*)

He regained his composure, snapping at all of them,

"Let Lloyd talk, geez."

The Ninja obediently shut their mouths.

Lloyd continued,

"Well- as I was saying, Walker will train with us today. The kids will go with Zane to practice stances and correct footing. The rest of us will spar with Walker to assess his skill set."

The kids and Zane left to go to the training course, and Kai, Jay, Cole, Nya, and Lloyd went ahead to the sparring area.

Lloyd turned to Jay once they arrived.

"Do you have a preferred weapon?"

"Yeap- I normally use daggers or nunchucks."

"Alright- Nya and Cole will go against each other, Kai and Jay spar for now, I will go get Ja-Walker's weapons."

"Thanks."

"No problem."

There was a problem- why was this new Jay so much like the old one, yet so different simultaneously?

He even used the same weapons!

That was the thought running through each of the Ninjas' heads.

That would have to be saved for later, though.

"Ready? NINJA-GO!!"

Jay was able to match Kai evenly with the sword.

They called a draw when Kai held a sword at his neck and Jay prodded his at Kai's heart at the same time.

Nya and Cole went against each other with Trident and Warhammer.

Nya had taken advantage of Cole's stumble, and quickly held her trident at his head, allowing Nya to win.

When Lloyd returned, he was able to witness Jay's draw with Kai, and was thoroughly surprised by his skill in the sword, just like the other three Ninja.

Lloyd walked over to Jay.

"Uh- It seems like you're quite decent at the sword, considering you just went against Kai. Oh- and here are the nunchucks, these were previously owned by the lightning ninja."

That left a pang in all of their hearts, except for Jay, since he did not remember.

"Oh wow, what an honor."

Jay said jokingly.

The Ninja winced.

Lloyd sighed.

"Well- we need to further assess your abilities, so you will go against each of us, and spar with Zane when we make time for it."

"Sounds okay to me."

"Sure."

"M'kay."

"That's fine."

Cole, Kai, Nya, Jay, and Lloyd were left winded when they concluded their sparring session.

"Whoo!! Where'd you learn to fight like that, man?"

Cole managed to get out.

Jay panted heavily, wincing a little.

"Oh, heavy exercising and endurance courses in The Administration."

"Maybe I should ask them to train me! You're clearly experienced!"

Cole joked, but stopped when he saw Jay's eyes twitching.

"You good?"

"Yeah- I-I'm fine."

Nya raised an eyebrow at him, before coughing to get his attention,

"Well, don't hesitate to let us kno-"

"I said I'm FINE, goddammit!!"

Jay growled, before stomping off.

Lloyd frowned at the other three still present.

"Well- that doesn't sound good. And- is it just me, or has Jay possibly had bad memories back at The Administration?"

Kai sighed.

"I knew I wasn't the only one. What should we do?"

Nya could only rock back and forth on her heels, responding,

"I don't know."

Cole agreed.

"Neither do I."
