Justin's POV.

The last of the evening ended with us cuddling on the boat floor, messing around with the stars as we tangled ourselves in a quilt. Alexis's words earlier had definitely helped me ease about having my grandfather here and I ended up enjoying everything along with her. And I'd finally gotten out that I was okay with a remarriage. I was determined to have a better life with this beauty I already call mine and take good care of her. I'll vow many new promises to her.

"Mm, Justin?" I ignored to voice and rolled the opposite direction. I licked the dryness off my lips and groaned, the aching in my back now obvious. I shouldn't have fallen asleep on the boat's floor. I'll note that in case I plan on having an overnight ride again. "C'mon, Lazy Ass." Hands shoved on my back and I soon pushed them away. "What do you want?" I tilted my head, quickly shielding my face from the sunlight that was currently shining on it. "For my husband to stop ignoring me when I need him." Alexis. I didn't fully realize it had been her. Mentally I facepalmed myself. I sat up immediately and turned towards her, my facial expression showing a pinch of sorrow. She obviously needed me for something by her expression. "What's wrong?" She had her arms crossed over her torso and she was a tad bit pale. It concerned me because I knew she wasn't pregnant yet. Or what if she was? From a time at home? "I keep throwing up from sea sickness." "Awe, Baby. Come here." She didn't waste time as she crawled to me and allowed me to pull her into my body. She hid her face in my chest, imaging the nausea feeling away. "You gonna be okay? I'm sure we're almost back." "I guess so." "Okay, try to hang on." Once I leaned back against the seats she squirmed until becoming comfortable and attempted to sleep the trip away. "I'll take care of you as soon as we get back." I reassured. "Okay."

"Justin?" "Hm?" I looked up from my angel'a features and furrowed my eyebrows. "We're docked." My granddad informed softly, taking a glance at Alexis. "Alright." "Is she any better? I heard her emptying her poor insides out all morning." "Yeah, I don't think she'd be much better if she was awake. But granddad?" "Hm?" He looked away from the rope he was wrapping up and gave me his wrinkled questioning look. He'd always stopped what'd he was doing to listen to me. "I don't think she just has sea sickness." "What do you mean?" "I think Alexis is pregnant." The rope dropped from his arm and he was practically frozen. I assumed the thud of the rope awoke Alexis since she suddenly sat up clinching her stomach. "I know, Love. I'll get you back to the room now." my hand reached out, stroking the softness of her flushed cheek. I hated seeing her in this condition. I wanted the color back in her usually cheerful cheeks. I gave my grandfather a warning gaze and hopped up before easing Alexis with me. "Take the quilt, she'll need it." I nodded, already wrapping it around my wife. "Thanks for this, Granddad. We both really appreciate it." "Anytime. Enjoy the rest of your stay. And good luck with her." I grinned at his gesture of her possibly being pregnant. "We will, trust me. And I'm sorry for my snapping incident yesterday." "No need to apologize. Bye, Kids." Giving a fatal wave, Alexis nuzzled into me for support. "You okay, Sweetheart?" "I'm losing energy to stand." "I'll get you some food and everything when we get back." "Thank you." I nodded and bent to lift her legs. Seconds later I had her in my arms bridal style and was on the way back to the hotel.

Alexis's POV.

Justin laid me on one side of the bed and covered me with the comforter. I still had the quilt tangled around me but I was thankful for the extra layers, sensing my body shivered of coldness at the moment. "I'll be back soon and then I'll take care of you." I took my arm from the bundle of softness and grasped his wrist. "I'm fine. It was just sea sickness and we aren't on the boat anymore." "You don't know that." "What's that suppose to mean?" I didn't know how to take his murmuring. Did he mean I didn't know if maybe I'd caught a cold or did he mean it snotty as in I don't have a clue what I'm saying? He sighed, wanting to avoid this, and sat on the edge of the bed beside me. "What if you're pregnant? It's absolutely possible." He's right. My expression dropped. I didn't want to contain a baby quite yet. I know I said I was ready an all but I wanted a little more time. "Why do you act like that's a bad thing?" I snapped from my daze and looked up at his handsome face. He looked hurt. My fingers wrapped around his upper arm and pulled him until he sat closer. I freed my other arm and cupped his face, carefully holding it closer. He has to know I'm serious when I speak these words. "I want to have kids with you. I want to be pregnant with your baby or babies. I just want a tad bit more time. Just a little, Justin. Then I'll be happier than ever to be contain our child. Do you understand now?" "You really do want my kids?" "Yes, I always have. I've just needed some time." "I didn't know it was the time part holding you back. I'm sorry." "There's nothing to be sorry for." "Does this mean if you aren't pregnant right now that soon you'll allow us to make it really happen?" "Yes. Just give me a few more days and I'll be perfectly ready." He gaped at me in silence, strangely being shocked by the new news. "You okay there, Handsome?" I giggled, now stroking his cheeks. "Yo- Bu- My- I love you." Again I released a small giggle. "I love you too." Justin fell into me purposely and engrufled me in a hug. "Thank you for telling me this. Thank you for soon doing it. Thank you for marrying me. Thank you for loving me. And thank you for every single thing you've done for me." "I'd do anything for you." Pulling back, he kissed my cheek and fully pushed himself off me. "I'll get you room service." I smiled, not because of food but because he turned his face from me trying to hide his tears while he wiped them. "No, doesn't that cost a fortune pretty much?" "You're worth it. But if you don't want room service I will go out and get you whatever you want." "I don't want you having to do that. I'll wait till the next time we go somewhere." "I am not letting my wife sit here hungry. I'm getting you food so tell me what you want." "I refuse to." I snickered quietly and crossed my arms. "Then I'll just get you something of my choice." "Cheeseburger please?" "Got it." "Thank you. Now can I have a kiss before you go?" "Maybe." "Please?" Chuckling, he ducked down and gave me a longing kiss. Then he left the hotel and began his search.

"Guess who's back." He sang in my ear. My light laugh escaped and I pushed myself into sitting. I caught sight of the bag in his hand and narrowed my eyes. That doesn't look like a food bag in his hand. He set it on my lap and I immediately opened it of curiosity. I pulled out a fast food McDonald's bag then a Ginger Ale bottle. One more item was left and I wasn't completely happy of it. It shocked me and it was too soon for me to even think of it. Apparently Justin had a different opinion. I set the bottle on the night stand beside me and the food on the bed next to me. Then I shakily picked up the box from the bag and balled the bag up. "I couldn't resist." Justin quickly stated. "I can see that." "Will you take it?" "Well," I lifted to rectangle into my hand. "I mean.. I'll take it but I'm also gonna go to the doctors for a test." "You won't wait till we get home, right?" I stated up at him and studied the anxiousness in his hazel orbs. He really wants to be a parent. "Not if you don't want me to." "Thank you." He smiled, unaware of my afraidness. "I'll take it the next time I go to the bathroom." He nodded, eyeing me carefully as I set the pregnancy test box to the side. I think he knew something was up.

"You know you don't have to take it. I didn't mean to pressure you into it." "Why not do this?" I shrugged, not exactly in the best mood, and continued on to the bathroom.

As I exited the bathroom an arm caught my waist and pulled me away. Justin turned me to him and lifted my chin, he eyes scanning me for answers. "Care to explain?" Frowning, I looked down and struggled in his embrace. Why is he going to do this to me? The next time he tilted my chin he shook his head at me. I had to give him an answer unfortunately. "I don't know. I'm just not in a good mood." "I can't help you if you don't let me know what's going on." "I want to be left alone." "Then go be alone." He released me and entered the bathroom. He can't be mad at me for this. It's not my fault. I'm just in this mood now. I heard the door harshly shut so I walked away into the bedroom area. What would I do if I was pregnant? Would I be able to lose the baby fat afterwards? If not then would Justin still want me? I hope so.

End of POV.

Justin's POV.

I'd been in the bathroom for around five minutes when it dawned on me the pregnancy test was in here. Did she really take it? I stopped staring at my reflection in the mirror and searched for the test. I found it on the edge of the shower and two small signs on it. I guess Alexis forgot about it, meaning she'a upset and has new things on her mind. This way if I check I can break the news to her. Hesitantly I sat on the toilet seat and picked the test up. I grabbed the box from the trash can and matched the signs with the ones on the box.

"Alexis, please let me talk to you. This is important." She looked up at me with her innocent orbs and nodded. I slumped onto the cushions beside her and rested my arm on the back of the couch. I'm afraid of her reaction. Just as I parted my lips to speak she jumped. "I forgot about the test." My free arm held her back and I shook my head. "That's what I'm here to tell you about." "You saw it already?" "Yes," I sighed, stroking her pinkened cheek in hopes that it'd cheer her up. "Baby, you're pregnant."

Comments? Honestly tell me if this sucks please.
