Three: amulet

In the middle of the night, Jim used his ability to super jump to get to the canal before his friends
Where he was waiting in the forest just next to the canals

Over time Jim discovered that he could do a lot of things others his age could only dream of like lifting things heavier than any human could by himself with ease, enhancing senses, and he could even jump miles without breaking a sweat
Which is how he was able to get over to the canals so quickly without being seen by other humans

Even though Jim could only go out at night and even then he had to be careful, Jim always thought the outside world was so beautiful
Jim only wished that like his human friends, Jim could experience the outside during the day

Claire and Toby made it on their bikes to where Jim was walting for them, they all went to down to the bottom of the canals were the three all found was pile of rocks near the bridge as they walked straight towards it

"This is all they left behind?!" Claire exclaimed in frustration "a stupid pile of rocks?!"

"James...lake" a strange voice called out to Jim when they all reached the pile of rocks, freaking them all out

"You, heard that to right?" Claire asked in a nervous tone

"That! That pile of rocks knows my name" Jim exclaimed in surprise as he moved closer to the center of the pile

"It's a pile of k-spar, minerals don't talk" Toby said in disbelief of what just happened

"Well that pile of rubble just did!" Claire disagreed with Toby "you got an explanation for that?"

"Well..." Toby said, unable to explain an argument that actually made sense "there's got to be a walkie talkie in there somewhere"

As the two just continue to argue, Jim was digging through the rock pile until he found a straight glowing blue amulet that must have been buried in the rubble somehow

It had a glowing blue stone on the center with circular gears and clock like arms like a watch

"Hey guys, you're gonna want to see this" Jim called out to his friend as they rushed over to see what jim found

As Jim picked up amulets, Toby and Claire both looked at it with astonishing curiosity, what was that thing that Jim just picked up the two thought to themselves, was it a clock or something else, something magical

"It looks like an amulet" Jim said out loud

"It looks like more of a weird medieval clock to me" Toby pointed out

"Well whatever it is, maybe it's a clue" Claire pointed out

"A clue to what?" Toby asked

"A clue to, everything!" Jim answered out loud in astonishment " the answer to who or whatever I am, this is the first clue to, everything!"

"And it will be your last!" A loud and threatening voice came from somewhere in the distance

Suddenly the three saw a the big Cole skinned creature with two swords on its back, with one of its arms seemingly completely paralyzed from Eli's story drop from the bottom of the bridge, just right across from them

The three screamed for a minute at the sight of the vicious looking monster before their very eyes

What was that thing they all thought to themselves, what did it want and what did it mean by their last?

"Trollhunter, Merlin's creation" the creature growled out loudly towards the group "gunmars bane, Surrender it and I will give you a speedy death." The creature exclaimed furiously when he saw that the one with blue skin and horns was holding the amulet
