Seventeen: Claire and present danger

In the museum during the night, goblins are huddled in front of the walls cheering for the e return to gunmar

Bular and nomura (in her troll form)stand in front of the crowd of goblins as strickler (in his troll form) walks to the bridge with the amulet in his hands

Once strickler makes it to the bridge, he kneels before gunmars silhouette and held the amulet over his head

"Open the bridge!" Gunmar commanded

"It is my honor, father" bular said as he took the amulet out of stricklers hands

"Where's the young changeling?" Nomura asked as strickler walked over next to her

"He should be here" strickler said to nomura, before turning his attention to the goblin leader next to him "fragwa, take your brethren and fetch that vile little beast"

The goblin then ran off, going to retrieve the changeling

Bular then leaped onto the top of the bridge as he was ready to put the amulet in and release his father from imprisonment

"For centuries, father, we have awaited your glorious return" bular exclaimed with pride "tonight, we take back the surface lands, tonight, we feast!"

As the goblins cheered in amazement, bular began to lower the amulet towards the place it was supposed to go but suddenly stopped as a thought came to mind, I thought very important

"Bular, put the amulet in and release me already" gunmar commanded bular

"The boy, the trollhunter, strickler said that he had a roar similar to a gumgums" bular explained to his father "similar to yours and mine, tell me, what connection does he have to us?"

"My son, that is not important right-"

"Tell me!"

It was clear that bular wasn't going to let gunmar go until he got the answers to his question, so gunmar had no choice but to tell him

"My advisor explained to me that the dark lands, the very place me and my soldiers are trapped in are dying and wouldn't last another century" gunmar explained to bular "so he insisted on making all of the soldiers breed more changeling to get the peace's of the bridge so we could escape as soon as possible, including me unfortunately"

"So the traitor to the changelings..."

"Yes, is your half brother"

"Which makes the boy, the trollhunter"

"Your nephew, and my grandson"

Bular, the changelings, and even the goblins were shocked in disbelief

Was Jim lake junior really the grandson of gunmar this whole time? Strickler thought to himself, that actually would explain how in the audio of the dentist camera how he was able to let out such a powerful roar, simpler to a gumgum, or gunmar himself

"But, I don't understand, why?!" Bular exclaimed loudly in disbelief and shock

"My advisor told me if we didn't have enough changeling in the surface then we would never get out of the dark lands before it would die completely, taking me out with it, now open the bridge!" Gunmar shouted at bular

All this time about how changelings were impure, all of what gunmar thought him and his own father helped birth a changeling who's own son became a the trollhunter bular though to himself in displeasure, he realized that his father didn't deserve to be freed after betraying everything that he touched bular and instead he threw the amulet onto the ground and started pulling out the keystone
