The annoying ringing sound of Tashi's alarm clock woke Lana up the next morning. She had never been a morning person despite all the early morning practices she was forced to attend over the years. Of course Tashi was already up and getting ready for the day while Lana pulled the covers over her face, trying to block out the sunlight pouring in through the thin hotel curtains.
"Get up Lana, we have a practice this morning. You know how coach gets when we're late," called Tashi as she tried pulling Lana out of bed.
"5 more minutes...you know it takes me like 10 minutes to get ready. Ughhh, why do we even have practice today. We're practically done with the tournament anyways," complained Lana as she resisted Tashi's pulling.
Tashi frowned as she looked down at Lana. Tennis was everything to Tashi and she couldn't understand people that didn't spend all their time practicing for it. It frustrated her that Lana trained less than her but somehow was always able to beat her. Recently it had pissed Tashi off more and more that Lana was getting all the attention. She knew that Lana hated it and would rather be invisible so she couldn't understand why she was the one plastered over magazine covers and new articles. She had always been the best until Lana came along and Tashi loved being the center of attention. Even with Patrick and Art she was jealous that Lana could pull them in without even saying anything. Tashi had done her best to keep these feelings hidden but with a 4 year losing streak against Lana, she couldn't stand it any longer. Without saying another world Tashi grabbed her tennis bag and left the room.
Hearing the door slam shut Lana winced and finally rolled out of bed. She had known Tashi long enough to understand that she was mad. Lana wasn't stupid. She knew that Tashi had been getting agitated that Lana would win everytime whenever they played against each other. Deep down she knew that Tashi kept her close just because she was scared of Lana's talent but everything in her wanted to believe it wasn't true and that Tashi was a true friend. Sighing, Lana changed into a teal tank and a matching white shorts with stripes down the side before slipping into the washroom to get ready. She quickly threw her hair into a high ponytail before braiding it and then grabbed her stuff, heading down to get a bite to eat before practice.
This is what Lana is wearing :)
Once downstairs, Lana grabbed a banana muffin and juice box from the buffet but as she turned around to head towards the tennis courts she slammed into a hard body.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I should of looked where I was going," squeaked Lana, not wanting to upset the man before she looked up and her cheeks reddened when she realized she had crashed into none other than Art Donaldson.
"You're good don't worry about it. How are you? Personally I still reek of chlorine even though I took a shower," smiled Art, happy to see Lana.
"Oh well I think you smell nice, not that I've been sniffing you or anything," quickly corrected Lana, cringing at her own words.
