Continuing with the previous part
Now to justify the incongruities in the character's physical abilities there are things we can use.
The first is the damage he received from U-Foes that ended up leaving him in a coma, which leaves him so weak that he could barely carry a person. I know that he had some time in rehabilitation, but it is noticeable that he did not recover his power in its entirety, in addition to the fact that he spends in confrontations that do not allow him to eat and rest properly, they keep him in bad physical condition.
During the second Spider-verse, Morlun confronted Spider-Man 616 and managed to absorb some of his life energy. And during the third Spider-verse, Morlun is "torn apart" by releasing everything consumed by him.
I can imagine a dialogue like this.
Peter 616: When Morlun apparently died, all the energy he consumed went back to the Spider-Men he killed, reviving them, but I don't feel like what he took from me came back to me.
This makes sense of the big drop in the capabilities of Spider-Man 616, since lately he has several problems when facing common enemies such as Tombstone that defeated him in a ridiculous way in my opinion.

The next part will be uploaded in the next few days.
Something they want to contribute would be quite helpful.
