Later on that day, after that terrifying ordeal on the grounds and a near missed expulsion, Harry and Ann met up with Ron to tell him everything that happened. As Harry, Ann and Ron were walking down the hallway, Sir Nicholas came gliding through the wall talking to a female ghost.
"Have you heard? Harry Potter's the new Gryffindor Seeker. I always knew he'd do well, and that Black kids the new Chaser as well,"
"Seeker? And Chaser?," Ron asked after they had explained everything,
"But first years never make their house teams! You must be the youngest Quidditch players in…," Hermoine said
"A century according to McGonagall," interrupted Harry. Then Fred and George came around the corner and walked along with the four.
"Hey, well done, Harry, and Ann," Fred said,
"Wood's just told us!," George added
"Fred and George are on the team, too. Beaters," Ron said.
" I knew that," Ann said
"I didn't," Harry told her.
"Our job is to make sure that you don't get bloodied up too bad," George said,
"Can't make any promises, of course. Rough game, Quidditch," Fred added
"Brutal," George agreed,
"But no one's died in years. Someone will vanish occasionally…," the four turned into a courtyard as the twins continued talking.
"But they'll turn up in a month or two," Fred and George laughed except for Harry who was definitely not in a cheery mood when Fred mentioned about Quidditch players who haven't died in years. Hearing the word 'died' just made him feel sick to his stomach. The twins walked off.
"Oh don't worry Harry Quidditch is great. Best game there is! And you'll be great, too!," Ann told him seeing the look on his face,
"But I've never even played Quidditch. What if I make a fool of myself?," Harry asked them.
"You won't make a fool of yourself. It's in your blood," Hermoine told him
"What do you mean," Ron asked her
"Oh come on I'll show you," Hermoine said. The three followed Hermione to a trophy case where she pointed to a plaque of Quidditch players. One of the players listed was Harry's father, James Potter, as a Seeker.
"Whoa!" Ron said,
"Harry, you never told us your father was a Seeker, too," Ann said lightly nudging him
"I-I didn't know," Harry explained.

Later before dinner Ann met up with Malfoy in the dungeons for their detention.
"Black,Malfoy, clean everything up and then you can head to dinner," Snape said before leaving the two alone.
"Well," Ann said picking up a broom
"I'll start on this side then," Malfoy said, walking over to one side of the room.
"Right then," Ann said. They worked like that in an awkward and heavy silence for the good part of an hour. Ann had begun to dust the bookshelves on her side and was standing on a rickety old ladder. Ann reached the top rung and stood on it trying to reach the top shelf. Malfoy looked over to check Anns progress when suddenly she began falling. Malfoy used his quick thinking and ran to catch the girl. Ann landed in his arms without so much as a scratch. Once Ann realized who her savior was she quickly got up and pushed him away.
"Get off me," she said pushing Malfoy off her
"Right sorry, I just didn't want to be blamed for your death," Malfoy lied
"Right yeah, you probably couldn't even survive Azkaban," Ann joked
"Yeah must be a tough place, but I bet if your dad can live through it so can I," Malfoy said. Ann coughed loudly trying to cover her laugh.
"Is that a laugh I hear Black?," Malfoy asked
"What no, I'm headed to dinner but feel free to stay here," Ann said walking off briskly.
