*What if Lucy was hiding something from Tim instead of the other way around.
Tim and Lucy had a date night planned that night. They decided to go to Tim's house since Tamara had some friends over. She did not want to disturb her. When she got there, Tim already was making dinner for them.
"What movie should we watch tonight?" Tim asked.
"We should watch The Three Amigos. It is a really funny movie," Lucy said.
Tim finished making dinner and plated the food for them. They sat down at the table to eat when her phone went off.
"It's probably Tamara asking where I am."
"It is fine. Answer her so that she does not get worried."
Lucy looked at her phone and was surprised.
Ty Borden:
TB: She is back.
Lucy stood up and grabbed her stuff and started towards the door.
"Where are you going?"
"I will talk to you later. Tamara just needs me."
Lucy's POV:
I left and met Ty at the boat docks to see why she is back. Ty finally pulled up and ran towards her.
"Veronica Lodge is back. She was spotted at the airport this morning. She hurt us so much. She tore some of the best friendships that we had. We moved away to save ours. I just can not get over the death threats she gave you," Ty said.
"I know. I am a cop now so she can not come after me with out getting in a lot of trouble. But I also have to watch what I do because I can ruin my career. I had to lie to my boyfriend just to meet you."
"Let's come up with a plan tomorrow so that we can get some rest. I will text you."
I left and went back to her apartment she was so scared because she ruined her life for a while. I was debating on telling Tim but I can handle this on my own. I went to bed and I have not seen Tamara. She must have went to bed.
Tim's POV
I was worried about Lucy. She has never done that before. She seemed very scared when she looked at her phone. I have this gut feeling that whoever texted her, it was not Tamara. If there was an emergency, she would have messaged both of us. I decided to call Angela to see what she thinks.
A: Hey Tim. I thought it was date night?
T: Yeah. It was but Lucy was acting strange.
A: What do you mean strange?
T: We were eating dinner and she got this text and she said that it was Tamara but she looked terrified. Then she left straight after and told me that she would talk to me later.
A: That is strange. Maybe she needed Lucy for some odd reason or Tamara was drunk texting her. You know how Lucy is with Tamara.
T: Yeah. Maybe. I think I am going to let her come to me when she is ready.
A: That sounds like a good idea. Good night.
T: Good night.
I got off the phone and went to bed.
No ones POV
The next day, Lucy made it to work and went straight to the women's changing room. She did not want to run into Tim. She thought he was mad at her for leaving last night. They went into roll call and was waiting for Grey to walk in.
"Good morning everyone. Night shift has done their jobs last night. Nyla and Angela, you will be working on detective stuff. Nolan and Tim, Aaron and Celina you will be riding together. Lucy, someone is waiting for you in interrogation room 2. Good Luck and be safe out there."
Lucy's POV
I went to the room and saw Ty standing there.
"What are you doing here? You can get me in trouble."
"I am sorry but she is coming closer to us. We should move again. I can not do this again."
"I can not keep running from her. I have this amazing life. I found people who I consider family. I do not post anything, so as far as she knows, I do not have anyone."
I left the room pissed off and went straight to the break room. I ran into Tim and Angela but did not say a word towards them. I needed to calm down before I say something that I do not mean.
After shift, I decided to go over to Tim's because I need to be in his arms. I got there and when he opened the door, I gave him a huge hug. I did not realize how much I needed that. We started to to make dinner and watch a movie. We were about half way through the movie when I fell asleep in his arms.
No ones POV:
The next day, they made it to the station and they went to change in their uniforms. They went to roll call and Grey walked in and started to assign people their jobs. Then all of a sudden Veronica walked in.
"You really thought you could run away from me forever, did you Lucy?" Veronica asked.
"You know what Veronica. I am tired of this bullshit that you continue to put Ty and me in. I built a life of my own. Why can't you do that?" Lucy asked.
"Because I want to finish what I started 10 years ago."
"Veronica. Please do not do that. Is it really worth going to jail for that?"
"Yes it is Lucy. You have ruined my life. You always had to be the perfect one with all the friends till I told them your little secret. Should I tell them?"
"What? That my dad abused me mentally, physically, and emotionally when I was a kid? Now they know. What are you going to do now?"
"Wow. You really have changed. I thought you were never going to tell anymore people about that. I told you what I was going to do when I found you and I did."
"Do it then. I dare you. No one stand up. I can handle this."
Veronica reached and grabbed her gun and pointed it at Lucy. She was about to pull the trigger but Lucy walked up to her and put the gun to her head.
"Shot me. Then you will be charged for murder of an officer, which is way worse than homicide."
Veronica put the gun down and Lucy arrested her. She continued her shift without anyone questioning her till after shift. She went to Tim's so that she could fully explain what happened.
"Hey" Lucy said.
"Hey. Are you okay?" Tim asked.
"I wanted to tell you why that all went down this morning."
"Okay."
"About 10-11 years ago Veronica, Ty, me, and a few others were inseparable just like our friends. One day Veronica found out what my father had done to me and told everyone about it. Everyone but Ty stopped talking to me. Veronica and I got into a huge fight that landed in her with threatening to kill me if I ever told anyone that she started the rumor. I did not feel safe at all so Ty and I moved to LA to get away from her. That is when I went to the police academy. I figured she would never hurt a cop but I was wrong. The text I got was from Ty saying that she was back and found us. Then the other day, he was the one who was in the interrogation room."
"I am so sorry that this has happened to you. I wish that you would have told be. I would have helped you."
"I am sorry too. I should have told you but I thought Ty was just being dramatic till this morning when she showed up."
"I love you no matter what. I am just glad you are okay and safe now."
They spent the rest of the evening together and Veronica was sentenced to jail for 10 years.
