Lucy, Jackson, and Nolan went to the bar together after a long week of work. They love going to The Venue for the Karaoke. Nolan goes to watch Lucy and Jackson because he can not sing at all.
"Lucy, what song are you singing tonight? I think I am going to sing 'Save you a Seat' by Alex Warren" Jackson said.
"I don't know. I am torn between Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson or Easy on Me by Adele," Lucy said.
After talking for a while and watching Jackson perform it was her turn. She got on stage and decided to sing Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson. Before she started, she say Angela, Tim and Nyla sitting at the back and they looked up to see who is singing next. They just got there and did not see Jackson perform.
"Isn't that your boot, Tim?" Angela asked.
"OMG! It is! I am recording this," he said this as he was pulling his phone out.
She started singing and they were all amazed by her voice. They had no idea that she could sing like that. They could not believe that she could hide this talent from people. After the song was over, Lucy got off stage and grabbed her stuff to leave. She felt embarrassed that their TO's watched her sing.
The next day, Lucy went into the station humming a song she heard on the radio. She went into the locker room hoping she would not run into Nyla or Angela. She does not want to be questioned by them. She was not lucky because they were there.
"Lucy! I had no idea that you could sing like that! How long have you been singing?" Nyla asked.
"Hey. I have not really been singing for that long. I just do it for fun or when I am asked by my family which is rare. I had no idea that you guys were going to be there," she said.
"We were not planning to go but figured it would be fun to hang out. Next time we should all go together." Angela said.
"Totally. We should go to roll call." Lucy said. They all left and walked into roll call.
Luckily Tim did not say anything about last night. The next time that the rookies went out, they invited their TO's. They all had a blast. Jackson and Lucy did a duet.
