Sameer quickly switched off all the gas knobs and holding his Naina , tried to pacify her.
Sameer : Naina naina naina ....chup ho jao please. Main mazak kar raha tha.
Naina's sob increased on hearing this and Sameer couldnt understand how to handle this self invited problem.
Sameer : please please ...please naina...please chup ho jao. Dekho sacchi main sirf nazak kar raha tha. Meri life me tumhare alawa koi nahi hai aur na hi kabhi hogi.
Naina's sob didnt stop and this made him restless. But both were unaware that it was the long time hidden pain that got a way to get released due to this teasing. The more she cried ,the more she felt lighter . But Sameer felt a heaviness in his heart.
He couldnt see his Naina sobbing and hugged her tightly ,pressing her to his chest and rubbing her back. Naina kept sobbing and Sameer kept comforting her till both felt lighter . Finally when Naina 's sob stopped, he slightly pulled her away and wiping her tears , kissed on her forehead.
Looking into her eyes and Keeping his right hand on her head he said : Meri life me tum wo eklauti ladki ho jiske liye mere dil me wo wali dhadkan hoti hai. Tumhare alawa meri life me na koi thi , na hai aur na kabhi hogi.....Tumhari kasam.
Ab se aisa mazak kabhi nahi karunga. Promise.
Naina stared at him with tear filled eyes for few seconds and suddenly taking the belan kept on the side pounced at him : tumhe main mazak karne layak chorungi tab na.
Sameer on reflex dashed back and ran in the kitchen to save himself : arey pagal ho gayi ho kya Naina....main sirf mazak kar raha tha.
Naina kept running behind him and he kept saving himself running between hall and kitchen.
Naina : bhag ke kahan ja rahe ho, apni us kareebi ke paas....
Saying so she threw a glass towards him in kitchen.
Sameer saved himself : kya kar rahi ho ....lag jayegi. ....Taiji ne dekh liya toh achi biwi training centre bhej degi tumhe.
Naina : acha...main bhi Nanu se ja ke tumhari sikayat karti hun.....batati hun tumhara kareebi sach.
Naina wiped her tear and started going out of the kitchen.
Sameer wondered and asked : kahan ja rahi ho.
Naina (angrily) : Nanu se tumhari shikayat karne. Unhe bhar bhar ke tumhari sikayat karungi.
Before she could take a step , he caught her from her waist and said : kya kar rahi ho....muft me class lag jayegi meri.....sorry toh bola na.
He held his ear and making an innocsnt face said : sacchi , main mazak kar raha tha.sorry......ab biwi se mazak nahi karunga toh kya Tauji Taiji se karunga.
Naina looked at him amd keeping her hand on her waist warned : agar dobara aisa mazak kiya na toh dekh lena. ...Main baat bhi nahi karungi.
Sameer pulled her close to his chest and hodling her through waist kept his right hand on her left cheek : baat nahi karogi toh jiyunga kaise aur ladunga kiske sath .....Mere life me tumhare alawa na koi aayi , na hai aur na kabhi aayegi.
Naina : pakka.
Sameer kissed her cheek and said : Pakka.
Sameer pampered her and made her smile and finally they started to work again. Amidst talk they finished preparing sabzi and zeera alloo.
Naina was preparing pulao when Sameer asked : Naina kya tum bhi chahti ho ki Preeti ki shadi pundit se ho jaye.
Naina looked at him : Main chahti toh hun ki preeti dobara settle ho jaye, par agar wo insan pundit hai toh mujhe bharosa hai ki wo usey bahut khush rakhega. Par main ye bhi nahi chahti ki dono zabardasti , is bandhan me bandhe....
