Liam
When they get to the movie theater, Liam buys their movie tickets. "Do you want any snacks while we watch the movie?" She shrugs as she nervously looks around. He orders some popcorn, two sodas, and some candy. Afterwards they head towards their theater. Once they're situated, he offers her some popcorn and candy.
"Oh, thank you," she says. She nibbles on the popcorn as the movie begins to start. Instead of watching the movie, Liam quietly watches her, as she tries to figure out what's going on in the movie.
Her expression shows confusion. She doesn't say anything to him though. Eventually the movie ends. "D...did you like the movie?" she asks.
"I did, did you?"
"Honestly, I'm not sure what was going on."
Liam laughs. "That's alright, I'll explain the plot to you over dinner, where do you want to eat?"
"Oh, um, I...you can pick. Nothing too fancy though."
"Alright, I know this great restaurant that's nearby! You'll love the food!" She smiles softly and follows him out to his car. The drive to the restaurant lasts about ten minutes. "Presenting, The Melting Pot, the restaurant that has the best food in town."
Alice
They head inside and wait to be seated. Once they're seated, Alice looks at the menu, trying to decide what she should eat. When the waitress comes she asks, "Have you decided on what you're having yet?"
Liam looks at Alice and she nods. "Yes, I'll have the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with a coke."
Alright," the waitress says, writing down his order. She turns to Alice. "...and for you miss?"
"Erm, I'll have the grilled chicken sandwich."
"What side would you like?"
"Uh, chips please."
"What would you like to drink?"
"Oh, uh, water is fine."
"Alright, I'll be out with your order soon." The waitress leaves.
"Are you hungry?" Liam asks.
"A little, I've been so stressed out lately that I haven't had much of an appetite."
"You want to try some of my fried chicken? It's good."
"Okay, if you insist." So their food arrives and Liam immediately offers her a drumstick.
"Eat, you'll get sick if you don't eat."
She takes the drumstick and nibbles at it. "Mhmm! This is good!" she blurts out.
He laughs. "I told you, you'd like it. Try your grilled chicken sandwich."
She bites into her sandwich. Her eyes light up. "Good!"
"I told you the food was the best in town."
He watches quietly as she eats her food, relieved that she's finally eating something substantial. After she finishes, he asks, "Do you want dessert?"
"N...no thank you." He nods and asks for the check. "A...aren't you going to eat?" She looks at his plate that still has fried chicken on it.
"Oh, I'll take it home. I'm supposed to eat dinner with my parents today. They're having guests over."
"Oh, okay."
He sees her eyeing his fried chicken. "Do you want to bring the rest home?"
She blushes. "N...no, I couldn't! It's your food."
