Liam
When they arrive at Alice's house, Liam carries her into the living room. "Are you sure you're okay, Alice?" he asks.
"Y...yes," she whispers, "I'm okay."
"What did that woman want?"
"She asked me about you and about what happened to that unconscious woman."
"Did you tell her?"
"About you or the unconscious woman?""Both!"
"W...well, I told her that you're a werewolf. I didn't know anything about the woman. D...do you know what happened to her?"
He sighs. "Yes, you attacked her when you shifted into your beast."
She pales. "I didn't mean to...I...will she be okay?"
"Yeah, but she'll probably transform on the next full moon."
"S...shouldn't we go find her?"
"That's going to take ages! We should..." There's a rapid knocking on the front door. "Stay here, I'll be right back." He walks to the front door, cautiously opening it. Outside, there's two teenagers. "Uh, what can I do for you?" he asks.
"Are you Liam?" one of the teenagers asks, "We need to speak to your girlfriend."
Liam's eyes widen, and he tries to shut the door, but the other teenager stops him, pushing past him into the living room. "L...Liam?" Alice calls out, "What's going on?" One of the teenagers pushes her into the wall forcefully. "W...who are you?"
"I'm Ellie," she answers. She points to the other teenager. "...and he's Thomas. We're investigating a mysterious attack on a human civilian. You were very disoriented and had no memory of how you got to the crime scene. We would like to ask you some questions."
"Am I in trouble?"
"That depends on your answers to your questions. Are you going to cooperate or not? It would be wise for you to cooperate, we'll use force if we have to."
"I'll cooperate."
She releases her grip on Alice, who sits down on the couch. "You aren't human anymore, are you?"
"N...no, I'm not."
"When were you turned?"
"Erm, I was bitten by a werewolf a few days ago. It wasn't Liam."
"What were you doing during the full moon that happened two days ago?"
"I...uh...well...I..."
"You shifted for the first time, didn't you?"
"Y...yes."
"And you accidentally attacked someone, yes?"
Alice nods. "I didn't mean to. Liam stopped me from killing her. He's teaching me how to control myself now."
"That's good." She begins to leave the room."
"You aren't going to kill me?"
"No, why would we? You technically haven't broken any laws yet as long as you control yourself then there's no need for us to kill you."
Alice softly starts to cry. "I would've gone to your organization and confessed myself, but I was scared. I thought you'd kill me."
Ellie shakes her head. "No, we have strict rules about killing monsters."
"Thank you."
"No, thank you. You've made this easier for us. We need to give the person you bite the cure."
