The Flyte CS-10 is a semi-automatic clip-fed blaster, similar to that of the N-Strike Elite Stryfe. It features compatibility with barrel extensions, though it does not come packaged with one. A clip release button sits in front of the firing trigger, as a part of the trigger guard. The clip well is notably shallow, causing some clips to stick out farther than on other clip system blasters. The battery tray is integrated into the blaster's front grip, rather than in the rear of the blaster.
Unlike other flywheel blasters, the Flyte lacks a sensor on its jam door, meaning it can be opened even if the blaster is being revved up.
A single tactical rail is located on the top of the Flyte, in front of the jam door. It features two sling points near the front of the blaster.
The Flyte's barrel extension point does not have a divot for a barrel extension's locking beat to sit in. As a result, larger barrel extensions may wobble around when the blaster is in motion.
