The HR is a bolt-action clip system blaster. As its name suggest, it is based on the Uncommon Hunting Rifle weapon from Fortnite with a color scheme based on the in-game Ruff wrap. Unlike previous bolt-action Fortnite blasters, it uses a rotating bolt which requires flipping up the bolt before priming. The bolt does not need to be flipped back down before firing the blaster, allowing for a slightly increased rate of fire. The blaster features a barrel extension attachment and is compatible with other N-Strike barrel extensions.
The top of the blaster has a jam door, however, it does not feature a handle or notch unlike other blasters; users may need to use a thin object such as a fingernail or pen to pry open the door.
The blaster is capable of slam fire, however it can be uncomfortable for right-handed users because of the placement of the bolt.
