The Helios is a bolt-action magazine-fed blaster with its magazine well built into its handle. Its bolt is spring-retractable, which makes it automatically return to its starting position after being pulled back; it is also removable and can be fitted to either side of the blaster for ambidextrous use. On the left hand side of the blaster, there is a jam door.
A single tactical rail sits atop the blaster. There are also two strap points, one built above the muzzle and one under the rear of the blaster.
