The Perses MXIX-5000 is a medium-sized flywheel and conveyor-powered blaster. It features a removable fifty-round hopper; this can be removed by pressing a lever on the side of the blaster. Like other RIVAL blasters, it has a safety switch, which locks the acceleration trigger from being pulled back. Similarly, it has a jam door in front of the hopper for clearing jammed ammunition. It also has an integrated shoulder stock, and an iron sight built atop the muzzle.
The Perses' rechargeable battery is inserted into the grip in front of the handguard and trigger. It is not compatible with the RIVAL Rechargeable Battery Pack.
A tactical rail is located on the underside of the barrel. There are two sling points: one under the muzzle and one built into the trigger grip.
