BOTH TEENS WALKED BESIDE ONE ANOTHER laughing and conversating they had left the party at 10:40 since Mika had to return home by 11.
"Semester one was crazy you're lucky you weren't here for it, There was this wild sex map in the school on the part no one really goes to, it was like nudes getting leaked but verbally"He laughed
"Everyone's name was on it with a bunch of lines connected to other people's names they've done it with and how they've done it"He added
"Who made it?"Mika asked
"Uhm...Amerie, Im surprised you don't know her already, everyone still talks about her cause she really fucked up every body's reputation around the school"He answered
"Oh...I know her- I just didn't know what she did"Mika confirmed
"Well how else did you hear about her?"He asked
Mika thought back to when Malakai was kinda flirting with her cluelessly. She felt flattered that he was that close to her.
"She was eyeing Malakai and I down earlier, she didn't like seeing the two of us together..we weren't doing anything else but talking"She added
"Oh.."He responded he looked at her again before saying
"I like you, I can tell you don't lie much"He spoke.
She smiled at him bursting out laughing, they then crossed the street jogging side by side.
"Is there something wrong with what I said?"He asked smiling at the thought of her laughing.
"Maybe what you said?"She laughed getting fully across the street getting on the sidewalk
"I feel like you're honest"He revealed shrugging his shoulder.
"I can be"She smiled over at him.
"How was life back at home?"He asked
"Oh- I loved it.. I miss my friends and everything..the best way I could describe it was like, living on paradise. My dad could only be in the city for work and stuff so I'd stay with my grandparents who lived mostly near the beach and I would go swimming almost everyday with a few of my friends and have a bunch of fruit after from their little garden or whatever"She confessed.
Anthony could tell she really did miss home, he felt like just by looking at her and listening to her she was an open book. He liked that she was just able to tell you anything and make it sound sweet like she cared about the conversation. He flashed a warm smile at her as they turned onto her street.
"That sounds like the sweet rich girl life" He affirmed
"How!"She exaggerated
"Sounds like you had everything you wanted up there"He released
"Uh..my boyfriend, we were together for 3 years before I left. He always was off but I never wanted the truth from myself, he'd always tell me he loved me and he'd take me out and do a bunch of cool stuff- but the night before I left he told me he had been seeing someone else for the past 4 months, it kinda hurt knowing that I feel like i would be better off lied to- it was like he was preparing for me to just leave so he could ya know- but whatever"She released, her tone was quiet and she felt degraded and defeated.
"Hey- I think you deserved to know right when it happened so you could have the opportunity to leave him yourself- I'm sorry that happened but I think you'll like it much better here, ya know once you get used to everything again"He added
She looked up at him nodding as she stopped walking.
"Thank you for walking me home.."She smiled placing her hands in her pockets, her chest stuck out a bit as he looked down staring at her chest area, she didn't notice since she had her head in the clouds..looking up at the stars since she was too nervous to make eye contact with him again. Anthony had everything she was saying blocked out till he thought of a better idea.
"Hey, can I get your number.. if that's COOL WITH YOU ?"He asked
"Sure"She replied blushing looking down at her feet to grab her phone while he took out his they were exchanging phones while they dialed in their numbers and placed themselves in as a contact. They looked up at one another out of nowhere just to see each others
"fake laid back" expression.
they then swapped back phones.
"Uhm...goodnight, thanks again for walking me home"She smiled walking away.
"Yea, goodnight"He added as he made his way down the street he slowed down so he could observe her get in her house while he was staring at her ass in the meantime.
