MIKA LOOKED DOWN AT THE BALL NEAR HER FEET.
It had been Thursday now, On Tuesday Mika had her argument with Anthony. That was the last time they had talked since Anthony figured it'd be best to give her a little space. He did stop talking to Harper for a while, not to satisfy Mika but Harper had been missing a few days of school recently anyways.
He felt sorry for Mika even while giving her her space, he knew that she still didn't have many friends to laugh with and talk to, that's why he never wanted to cut her off or by pass her for too long.
Everyone else left the field or waited for their rides on the benches not too far from the field. Anthony and spider had been waiting for both Missy and Mika to stop playing by themselves. The two girls were still in their gym clothes while playing.
"I have to tell you something" Missy spoke while kicking the ball back over to Mika.
"What, why now?" She asked irritatedly kicking the ball back.
"...They wanna hang out tonight, you should come" Missy spoke poking her head towards both boys on the bench. Missy sighed watching the ball approach her, once it was close enough she kicked it back to Mika harder than before as it went into her side of the net.
Mika slouched her shoulders groaning and throwing her head back.
"Ughh" she groaned rolling her eyes.
"No, I'm busy tonight..tomorrow's exam is gonna fuck me over if I don't study tonight" Mika implied sighing. She jogged over to the goal grabbing the ball as Missy jogged behind her catching up with her.
"Come on, you can do that later..we're just going to the movies tonight" Missy Whispers patting her back.
"I don't know, I'm not really cool with ant right now or whatever.." Mika sighed once again picking up the ball. Just as she said that he was approaching her getting off the bench.
"I think he's over it, don't drag it Em's" Missy smiles patting Mika's shoulder. Missy makes her way over to where spiders sitting, she sits next to him taking her water bottle out of her bag.
Mika dropped the ball in the damp grass, she gently kicked it over towards Anthony as he kept his eyes on her waiting for her to look over at him.
They soon just started playing the actual game instead of just kicking the ball back and forth. Mika made an attempt to get the ball into his net but he was quicker than her. As soon as she had the ball following along her feet he made his way infront of her making her loosen her grip on the ball. Once he had the ball he picked it up off the ground as she stopped right infront of him. She stood there looking down crossing her arms, he looked down at her waiting for her to either say something or do something such as take the ball.
