MIKA PULLED DOWN ON HER DRESS hoping it would stop lifting. She then grabbed a pink frosted sugar cookie taking a bite out of it.
They had been at a Women's Association Event for a scholarship for the school. Everything was pink and princessy, Mika didn't wanna go but she had promised Sasha she'd bring and cateer her cookies she stayed up all night making a few days before. They had about 30 cookies that said Vote Sasha on them, they were purple and blue.
Mika and Anthony had been giving eachother silent treatment, things just felt different and they both didn't seem to wanna talk about it. They were slowly drifting away from one another once again.
"How many of those are you gonna eat?" Anthony asked while having a jelly crumpet in his mouth, Mika slowly turned her head over to him. She didn't know what to say for a second.
"Says the one who's finished a whole plate of crumpets? " Mika asked licking her lips.
"Well I didn't eat this morning so.." Anthony defended himself.
"...Well I'm on my period so" Mika lied taking a bigger bite
"No you're not" Anthony claimed giving her a look of surprise
"How would you know?" She snapped
"You only have it at the end of the month, it's the 9th.." Anthony snapped. She forgot he kept up with her cycle but she also forgot about the woman who had been drinking tea right infront of them proudly eaves dropping. When the two turned over to her she looked down at her tea bringing it up to her lips and walking away with her eyes glancing around the room.
"..I fucking hate you" Mika sighed rolling her eyes and taking another bite out of the cookie. He didn't say anything but fold his lips together.
"Now that we're talking now..why are you upset with me anyways?" He asked placing the rest of crumpet on the napkin. she didn't say anything but she had been upset with him ever since they left the party a couple nights ago and the day after he was hanging out with Harper, Mika had been looking around for him since practice was canceled. She wanted to know if he wanted to hang out instead of just going home but he was "busy" apparently.
