[JI RYEONG POV]
"Rapmon...?" I stammered as I stared into the mirror.
"Yo," replied Rapmon. He looked tired but still gave a smile as he adjusted his bandages. "Missed me?"
"Missed you? Missed you?! Of COURSE I missed you, you idiot!" I turned and hugged him.
"Just asking," Rapmon laughed as he hugged back. " But I was getting a little cautious on my approach because I don't wanna see you break down in front of me again!"
"Oh yeah...." I laughed awkwardly, remembering yesterday when we visited him and I sobbed like hell. It was yesterday? And the doctor said he needs a few more days rest. Wait a minute. Since when was he able to be discharged so quickly?
"Question. How did you heal so quick?"
"Me? Na~ Doc said I healed WITHOUT MEDICINES and I'm tough, as he stated earlier. So yeah, you could say I'll be back to school on Sunday."
"Good thing. C'mon, let's go downstairs. Breakfast." I grabbed his hand and dragged him out the bathroom and out our bedroom.
[A LITTLE LATER]
The boys took about an hour to finish their breakfast since they were talking to Rapmon most of the time. It turned out that he was discharged early in the morning. Feeling bored, he wanted to surprise us by sneaking into the house while Jim woke the other boys up. Yep, he likes to do surprises. Lots of them. Which is kinda awkward since we normally give him.
" So hyung," Jung Kook asked, fiddling with his chopsticks. "You wanna hear something?"
"Dont tell me it's more of congrats please," said Rapmon, covering his good eye. Ah yeah, the whole hour was spent congratulating him for getting out of the "shit hole" which they refer to as the hospital. I think its shit hole too because it sucks being admitted: I got hospitalized when someone rode their bike over me when I was five. Ouch.
" Ah nonononononono," Su Ga clicked his tongue, shaking his head and grinning a smug grin as if in victory. "It's something much, much, much better."
"Which is...wut?" Rapmon looked uneasy; all the boys were staring at him, especially V who goggled at him.
"You got a dang whole lot of homework to do," he joked. Rapmon groaned and hit his head on the table. We were obliged to laugh.
"Plus you missed out really hard stuff in Arabic," I added. "New vocab. Not easy at all."
"I think I have had enough torture for one day," he sighed as he rubbed at his bandages. That eye must be itching real bad.
After a little while, I helped clean up the table and the other boys rushed up to play bingo. As I washed the dishes, I observed Jin. He seemed tired, much more tired from this morning, and I think that the boys' chattering caused him a headache. Nah, mine's hurting too.
"You seem quiet," I said, trying to spark up a conversation.
" Its nothing," Jin replied, giving a weak smile.
"Does your head hurt?"
"Yep."
"Sorry for disturbing you then, I was just checking on you."
"Its perfectly fine." He got up from the couch, fiddling his hair to make it messy. He walked over to me and slid his arms round my waist from behind me, lay his head on my shoulder and whispered "I love you."
"I love you too," I answered equally quiet.
The doorbell rang, ruining our moment. Ugh.
"Ill get that," Jin smiled. He released me and jogged over to the door. I heard it open and Jin returned, helping a man with a child in his arms. Both seemed very weak, judging from the way the man struggled to stand with the unconscious child in his arms. I couldn't make it out at first, but then I gasped in horror as I realized who was the man and child.
It was Min Woo and Hyun Dan.
