[JIN POV]

I rested on the bench. Suga still wasn't here, and the other boys and I were wondering what's taking him so long. I drank a long gulp of water, the coughed and sputtered as a few drops got stuck in my windpipe.

"You alright?" asked Jung Kook.

" Yeah," I said as I cleared my throat. "Water got stuck."

"Again?"

"Again."

"Sheesh! Take it easy when you drink or eat something. You'll end up choking."

"Thats the thousandth time you told me that."

"And the thousandth time I tried to make you understand."

I smiled and shook my head. Jung Kook may be annoying, but he's quite caring sometimes. I really like this guy's attitude. Then something popped in my mind.

"Where's Ji Ryeong?" J-Hope said aloud for me. He bounced the basketball in a V shape and turned it on his finger. The other boys stopped playing and looked around.

"Yeah, did she disappear into thin air?" V said.

"You hope?" Ji Min smirked.

"I'll go check," I finally said. " Let me know if Su Ga arrives."

"Sure thing!" I heard V chirp behind me as I disappear in the building. Now where could she have gone to at this time?

[MAX POV]

Find Ji Ryeong. Check.

Talk to her. Check.

Convince her to love Kyu Hyun. Nah.

If not, make her do it. Almost done.

Heehee! I'm finally able to get close to her! I feel like I'm gonna melt! Oh, this is so AWESOME! But how dare she refuse! Oh well, step four gives backup. Lemme try take a bite outta her...

I glared at her in a way that forced Ji Ryeong to glare back. I managed to get my face close to hers and I tilted mine a little. That was easy. Now the hard part comes when I should try and kiss her. If successful, I might make her faint. Devilish me!

"Hold still," I whispered as she tried to move away. I held her face to make sure she doesn't flinch and I took a look into her eyes. She has a strong will, I think. It would be difficult to take her. But I promised Tae Min and Kyu Hyun that I won't let them down! I got close enough to hear her shuddering breathing, to see a sparkle in her eye, and I closed my eyes. Our lips were about to come into contact when a voice rang out through the empty hallway

"MAX!"

I turned and see Kim bash my face. I fell to the floor, searing pain throbbing in my left cheek, and I felt something wet go down my face. Blood. Just great. Now what?

Jin looked calm, but his eyes meant kill. Knowing I had nowhere to go, I turned tail and ran off top speed, not looking back once. Plan failed, now what'll happen?!

[JI RYEONG POV]

I stood, shocked by what happened just now. Max was close to kissing me and Jin comes out of who-knows-where and saves me by a second. I saw Jin and ran to him, hugged him and started sobbing.

" I'm so sorry..." I tried to say between sobs. "I didn't know-"

"I thought I TOLD you not to go anywhere with someone you don't know!" His voice trembled in anger which was why he didn't hug me back.

" I'm sorry Jin... Please...forgive me... Please..."

Jim remained quiet for a while, breathing deeply, then squeezed me, resting a hand on my head. I continued to sob like hell as he said soothing words in my ear.

"At least he didn't kiss you, did he?"

"N-no, he was close b-but he d-didn't." My voice was shivering but otherwise I became better. Jin put a finger to my chin and made me look up at him. The anger had gone, and was replaced by kindness. He stated at me and let a small smile creep up his face and wiped my tears. I never saw him like this before, but I like it this way.

"Don't cry. The others would wonder what happened to you, and I don't think that would be comforting."

"No... Is my face red?"

"Hardly, dear. I would back up for you. Say you bumped your face in the wall when you slipped in the bathroom."

I laughed at this, and he smiled again. I noticed he called me dear. He should keep calling me that, and we really might end up as a couple, as J-Hope stated. Speaking of J-Hope, he appeared from behind the lockers.

" Hey Jin! Ji Ryeong! Su Ga came."

"About time! C'mon!" Jin grabbed my hand and the three sped of to Su Ga's car. We settled in and we were off.
