[AFTER SCHOOL AT HOME]

"Bhaie! We're home!" I called. I opened the front door and let hyper little Hyun Dan dash inside. Min Woo emerged from the kitchen.

"Aha welcome back!" He said, pulling aegyo similar to when V did it. I hugged him and Hyun Dan clung to his legs. I beamed at Min Woo, then I noticed some brown stuff sliding down his cheeks. My smile faded.

"Min Woo," I said. "What's chocolate syrup doing on your face?"

"Chocolate? My face? La~" Min Woo lied, wiping his facewith the apron he was wearing. "There's no chocolate!"

"Bhaie is hiding something!" cried Hyun Dan hopping up and down.

"Dan's right, what were you doing?" I laughed.

"I uh... I just... I was gonna..." Min Woo stuttered, trying to find words to back up his lie. His face puffed, like he always does when he was tense, then let the air out and finally admitted, "I was gonna bake some sweet treats for you guys cuz I felt so proud of you on your first day at the new school!" He shut his eyes tight, and when he opened them, he found Hyun Dan and I laughing like crazy.

"Bhaie wanted make food for us like this?!" Hyun Dan laughed hysterically.

"Seriously bhaie, this wasn't anything to hide from your own siblings now was it?" I added, wiping my wet eyes from giggling so hard.

"Yes it was," Min Woo ruffled Hyun Dan's hair.

"How come?" Hyun Dan asked. He had stopped and listened to Min Woo's reply carefully.

"It was supposed to be a surprise for you little derps."

"Surprise blown up huh," Hyun Dan shrugged with a naughty smile.

"But when do we get to eat?" I asked. Min Woo scoffed.

"Now, of course!"

[THAT NIGHT, DINNER]

Hyun Dan and I stuffed brownies and cupcakes into our watering mouths. Min Woo sat next to us, wearing his normal clothes and a smile.

"So," he asked as he watched us eat. "How WAS your day, then?" Hyun Dan pulled a thumbs up sign and I gave an approving nod.

"Fun!" said Hyun Dan. "I was scared but aapi said there's no mean persons and I calm!" (I'm just trying to make Hyun Dan's English cute)

"That's true," I added. "I was scared myself too. I thought I'd be alone. But I found lots of my old friends." I grinned. "One included Jung Kook!"

"No way!" Hyun Dan and Min Woo said in union.

"Chyeah~" I pushed away my empty plate. "I couldn't recognize him at first then he sad if I remembered him and apparently I did!"

"Junggie~" said Min Woo. "He's in a basketball team now, am I right?"

"Yurp," I replied. "He's got a new team as well. He introduced them to me, and I think they're nice supporting the fact that they're super funny!"

I wish I never said that sentence because Min Woo's smile faded immediately and he froze. I never knew what I said, so I wanted to know.

"Min Woo, what's wrong?"

"Ji Ryeong..." Min Woo began. He shivered. "It's nothing, kiddo. Just make sure nothing happens to you."

"What? Why?" I was puzzled. Even Hyun Dan got confused.

"I'm worried," Min Woo continued. "I'm worried if they try to harm you. I mean, I'm not saying that they're bad! I need you to know that maybe they might turn to an unexpected path so you have to watch out. Okay sweetie?"

"Okay bhaie," I said. He smiled nervously.

"I'm not forbidding you from this, but I won't break my vow to Umma and Appa. I promised I'd protect you from any harm." He sighed. "You may go if you finished your food."
