I kissed lips that weren't yours and gazed into eyes that didn't have the same color
Blue eyes like the sky squinted at me and perused my whole face and body while warm hands caressed me all over
And yet
You still remain there
In the back of my mind
You're still there, lingering
Acting in all the memories I still cherish of you
Wishing you'd call and we could talk once more
I laid in another's arms and my heart was pounding
I laid in another's arms while a small part of me disgustingly wished they were yours
