i see her through your eyes
the girl on the train
at the party
in my class
and everywhere elsei see her through your eyes as i know what you fall for
i analyze and envy her because of your eyes and the way i know you'd halt
and pause and analyze her the same way i do
you'd be stunned into silence and as i see her, no words escape my parted lipsi see her through your eyes
your male eyes
the same way i see myself and deem it unworthy
i see her the way you would and it sparks the same interestenvy and jealousy swallows me and i once again drown in my own well of self-doubt and insecurities
because of how i see myself through you and how i wish i could change and modify myself
so that one day
i'm at rest with what my eyes meet
