CHAPTER3|AVERY STIRLING

Turns out we called it a night after dinner and no arguing occurred during that which was great

But at this very moment I knew something was about to happen the way he was up before me this morning and pacing around the room when I opened my eyes. He's pretty much stressed

"Well whatever you need to say spit it out already. I have all morning." I sigh before rubbing my eyes

Our eyes locked for a second before he took his attention off of me once again continuing his little endless journey around me bedroom

"Just give me a moment Avery. I just want you to understand what I'm going to say."

More like wait Avery I don't want to hurt our relationship with my filthy cruel words every time we argue so I'm trying to find the right things to say

Getting up from the bed I prepared myself for what he was ready to throw at me. The arguments were never like this until we both started getting busy and seeing each other less

And god I missed it when we were more happy and the arguments never occurred. But now as the years go on they get worse and unreasonable. Just like this one was about to be. But I feel as if it was gonna be bad

Bad to the point I couldn't be in my own place anymore

"Wyatt, I don't want to argue with you. It's tiring and it hurts too much. I can't keep doing this with you." I breakdown before he even gets a chance to yell

He stops pacing the room."Avery you're leaving for god knows how long. A weekend will turn into months with your books. We barely have time for each other anymore and when we do all we do is yell at eachother or have angry sex." He screams

"It's not that big of a deal. What do you want me to do?. Drop everything for you?. This is the future we're talking about."

The silence filled the room but that didn't last long because the look on his face told me everything I needed to know

I chuckle."I would never ask you to give up your dream for me. And yet here you are telling me to do the exact same thing."

His hands flew down to his side from being in his hair."Damn it Avery I can give you all you need, you don't have to work at all, I'll pay for everything all you have to do is stay by my side."

My hands lock into my hair as tears blur my eyes. What he's asking of me is unbelievable

"This is so fucking selfish of you. We've spent all our college years together and you can't let me go for a little while to do what I love the most. Something you should be supporting me in?."I shout at him

In a swift motion his leg flew out and kicked the bed in front of him causing a loud smack to sound throughout the house

"I can't live without you. I want to fix things between us so if that means getting your head stuck out of those fucking books,"he pauses."Then yes I want you to give up your life long dream."

My hand shakes by my side as I stand as far away from him as possible. Wyatt Ford, my boyfriend, the sweet and kind boyfriend everyone thinks of him to be is a douchebag who only cares about himself in reality. Well in this years reality

Without another word I grab my phone and purse ready to pass him but he blocks me."Get out of my way." I whisper my voice tired from the previous shouting

I don't yell. And I don't shove him. I do nothing because what if this is his breaking point?. What if at some point he hits me?. I wouldn't know what to do. His hand moves and I suck in a breathe while shutting my eyes tight ready for what he had coming my way
