CHAPTER10|WYATT FORD

Hockey has been harder on us than usual. More pain, more gym time, less food, and more practice time. A few practices last for about eight hours

"Let's go eat on the college bleachers. We haven't done that in a long time," Harley says as he zips up his bag

I've been thinking about Avery all day. Something feels off but I just don't know what it is. I've bought a ticket to see her in a couple of weeks and I might bring the rest of the group with me

The girls have missed her a lot since she's been gone. Even though Estella saw her not too long ago she somehow gets upset. The boys miss her and getting on her nerves

They especially miss Quinn. I don't understand why they like testing her patience but when they do they get in a hell of a lot of trouble with her. And I'm sorry but I will never want to be on her bad side. That woman's a psychopath

    Just like my best friend

They were meant to be together

But I can't say I expected him to end up just like her because I truly didn't. As soon as we got that class together it began there. I was rooting for them but now I'm jealous

Being jealous of my best friends is something I shouldn't be but it just is. Their relationship reminds me of how me and Avery were in the beginning. We were so healthy and now every other day we argue and I can't help to think it's my fault

Jaxon and Quinn are forever stuck to each other's hips. Always whispering sweet nothings in each others ears and I get sick of it to the point I excuse myself from them and go and call my girlfriend

    Those conversations never last

Well we're always on the for two hours or so

My father keeps warning me about speaking to her so I try my best to keep it quiet. I don't want to put her in any trouble

Of all things I'm sneaking around at my exotic age trying to fix my relationship with my girlfriend

    My father's in my way

"Are we bringing gifts when we go and see Ave and Quinn in LA?."

I hadn't thought about that. The week we go is supposed to be the week she publishes her new book. Supposedly their having a huge ceremony for her

Noah has been interested in trying a hot dog from a cart on the streets of LA because Quinn has told him all about it the first day she went and now he can't get enough

I shrug. "If you want to you can but I'm not making any of you do that if you don't want to but I'm sure she'd appreciate it."

"Well don't forget to bring Quinn a gift or she'll feel left out. Might even push us in front of a bus." Jaxon says as we all watch some kids kick a soccer ball across the field

Reminds me of when we all decided to play kick ball and Harley shoved Noah onto the ground and he ate dirt,"That girl needs some serious help. I mean I know she had therapy or something but she needs to go back for a little longer."

He looks over at me and his eyebrows pull together. Maybe I should've kept that to myself. If I learned anything it's to never say anything that'll tick the lovely couple off

Sebastian walks up the bleachers and I can hear Jaxon groan along with everyone else but his was louder because he doesn't have a filter apparently

In the beginning he was okay, not as bad as Quinn made him seem. But since she's been gone and he hasn't had anyone to bother he's been killing us slowly
