The warm water cascaded over Eddie's skin, soothing his muscles as he stood beneath the spray of the shower. He had his eyes closed deep in thought, trying to get out the only thing that stayed stuck on his mind.

Evan Buckley.

It had been a couple days since he and Chris went over. Since then he hasn't been able to stop thinking about Buck. He thought maybe it was just because he longed for sex, so he invited Buck over last night after work while Chris was away at his abuela's.

The sex was absolutely mind blowing, as Eddie had expected. But in the aftermath of their night when Buck fell asleep on his chest, his mind still raced. And as much as he tries to suffocate these feelings, they always resurface.

Lost in his thoughts, Eddie didn't hear the bathroom door creak open. He jumped slightly when he felt a pair of arms snaking around his waist, pulling him close.

"Hey there," Buck murmured, his voice low and husky as he pressed a soft kiss against Eddie's neck.

Despite the warmth of the water, a shiver raced down Eddie's spine at the touch of Buck's lips. He placed his hand on the back of Buck's head, tangling his fingers in the man's hair and urging him to keep kissing.

"What are you doing in here? You were sound asleep a minute ago," Eddie asked, his voice barely above a whisper as Buck's hands roamed eagerly over his wet skin as his lips kept working at Eddie's neck.

"I heard the water running, and frankly I just couldn't resist joining you," Buck mumbled against him, his breath warm.

Eddie chuckled softly, his heart fluttering at the affectionate gesture. "Well, I'm not complaining," he admitted, turning in Buck's arms to face him.

Their gazes locked, and in that moment, Eddie felt a surge of emotion that took his breath away. He didn't know what happened, but it was like his brain had completely shut down. All he could see and breathe was Buck. He craved him.

Eddie closed the distance between them, capturing Buck's lips in a heated kiss. His movements were rougher than usual, a raw need driving him as he lifted Buck effortlessly, eliciting a surprised gasp from him. Buck wrapped his legs around Eddie's waist, his moans mingling with the sound of the rushing water as Eddie's lips found his lower neck and collarbone.

Buck was enjoying the dominance, but as he went on it was starting to feel like he couldn't breathe. The intensity of Eddie's desire blinded him to Buck's discomfort.

Buck winced slightly, feeling Eddie's grip tighten a little too much, and he hesitated, his voice a gentle plea amidst the rush of water.

"Eddie," Buck gasped, his tone strained, "easy, it's kind of hurting."

But Eddie was so lost in a storm of conflicting emotions, his mind clouded by denial and anger he couldn't quite name. He couldn't even hear Buck's plea, and his movements grew even rougher, fueled by an uncontrollable urge to dominate.

"Eddie stop! You're hurting me!" Buck's discomfort turned into a pained cry as he pushed against Eddie's chest, breaking free from his grasp.

The sudden release shocked Eddie back to reality, and he reached out instinctively, his voice tinged with panic.

"Buck, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean—"

But Buck was already retreating, his expression a mixture of fear and hurt. Eddie's heart sank as he watched Buck put distance between them, his own confusion and guilt weighing heavily on him.

"Buck, please," Eddie called out, his voice desperate, but Buck didn't turn back. The silence that followed felt suffocating.

Eddie let himself take a deep breath before stepping out of the shower, the cold air hitting his wet skin as he reached for a towel. He quickly dried himself off, his mind racing with thoughts of what had just transpired.

He had let his emotions get the best of him, allowing his unresolved feelings to manifest in a way that had hurt Buck. The realization hit him like a punch to the gut, and he sank down onto the edge of the bathtub, burying his face in his hands.

What had he done? How could he have let things escalate like that?

He stood up and wrapped the towel around his waist. He made his way to the bedroom, where he expected to find Buck waiting for him, but the room was empty.

"Buck?" Eddie called out, his voice echoing in the silence of the apartment. He checked the living room, the kitchen, but there was no sign of Buck anywhere.

Feeling a sense of dread settle in the pit of his stomach, Eddie sank down onto the couch, groaning to himself.

How could he have let his emotions get the better of him like that? Eddie buried his face in his hands, his heart heavy with regret as he replayed the events in his mind. He had let his anger and confusion drive him to a point where he had hurt Buck, the last thing he ever wanted to do.

As he sat there, consumed by his thoughts, a knock at the door startled him. He looked up, hope flickering in his eyes. Maybe Buck came back. He rushed to put on a pair of sweats and a shirt before making his way to the door.

"Buck-" He started as he opened it.

Eddie's face dropped as he stared at the figure standing on his doorstep.

"Shannon?"
