Chapter 3

We stopped at the front of a mansion which had 6 lengthy stories it looked very grand even from the outside.

The guard in the font took our ID and we immediately smelt the adrenaline rush into his body and he looked at our face with fear and immediately waved away the rest of the guards letting us in.
Guess there was no need for me to use my powers this time then.

I drove us in, parking the car right in front of the huge mansion. As we got in I saw a girl sitting outside playing with a tiny Labrador that looked barely a few months old.

She had black hair with dark brown highlights, her eyes where the shape of almonds and were hazel in colour. Her nose was very slightly crooked but it didn't make her look bad in contrary that was probably her most beautiful feature.

She looked at us as we came in and I immediately saw her shoulders curve inwards, the way humans did when they wanted to conserve themselves from danger.
She grabbed the puppy and immediately went inside throwing us one last nervous look.

"Well she looked like she's just dying to be freinds" Damian snorted.

"She's Tara, right?" Eyden asked.

"Yep that's her" I said,
"Did you notice something though, she doesn't really look much like her sister" I pointed out.

"She does a little, I mean they have the same lips and I think the height is quite similar too". Damian said.

"You know that's not what he meant ,her sister looked, you know more...uh..unnatural I suppose." Eyden looked quite unsure as he said those words.

"Come on, time to find out" I grunted slightly as I got out of the car, I still felt rather jetlaged and I was feeling hungrier than before too and I knew I was probably going to snap if I don't get some food in me now.

We parked the car in the ridiculously big garage and walked out to find Mr Mehta and his family waiting to meet us. I did a quick scan through the people there and counted four people in total, including the nervous girl ,Tara.

She wasn't there among them but I realized then that she resembled her mother a lot as she too was very pretty and I saw a lot of the familiar features from the photo too, but her mom too didn't seem as breathtakingly beautiful as she had in the photo.

"Hello everyone ,welcome welcome." Mr Mehta announced in a confident voice, but I could hear the tiny cracks in his voice too light for a human to hear them.

"Everyone this is my wife Anika". He introduced, we politely noded our heads and I shot a quick smile at her that I knew worked well on human females and as expected I saw her mouth hang open slightly at my smile,then she immediately looked away.

"My eldest daughter Tara and her younger brother Rohan" he signed to both of them ,the girl merely nodded at us with pursed lips but the boy smiled at us but his eyes kept darting to his sister.

We were about to introduce ourselves when suddenly we heard a voice from the front of the house-

"Sorry I'm late dad,I got a call"
The voice sounded like music to my ears ,like a mix of soprano and bells. My breath hitched...

I looked up to see the most beautiful girl my eyes had ever had the fortune to lay upon...
